  1. THANKSGIVING 🦃 DAY…And to all who celebrate I wish you and yours a Happy and Healthy opening to the Holiday Season!

Good Morning, Everyone…I hope this finds you well…
    🍇 IT’S A BLESSING TO HAVE SUCH GRAPE FRIENDS🍇

    🎶 I’m happy I have such good FRIENDS…I’m happy that I know you..I’m happy that you’re happy….Well I’m just happy you’re all happy too…🎶 “Happy Thanks a Bunch Day” – Mickey & Friends 2008 https://tinyurl.com/nd43h6dt

🍇 The invitation welcomed, it made her feel quite grand,
She didn’t have that many friends since she had moved INLAND…
Some neighbors nearby came off BRASH, but Ethel was a dear,
Lucy was thrilled when she had said, “Lucy, we’d like you here…
    Don’t worry there won’t be a HITCH, it’s just a close-knit group,
We’ll eat and UNCORK some good wine, and you’ll just love my soup…”
So Lucy, definitely loving wine, was glad it wasn’t brunch…
And she brought grapes as a small gift, and said, “Oh, THANKS A BUNCH”! 🍇

Our words…Nothing new, and a split decision on our anagrams. CITHH was last seen in 2017, and DILNNA goes way back to 2011. And it was UNCORK that almost drove one of the Early Birds to DRINK…(He’s not one known to BOTTLE up his emotions)…The solve? After SEEDing those bunches of grapes? …It was easy PICKINGS…

Our cartoon is SWEET. The woman hosting, who I’ve dubbed Ethel, looks like a character Jeff’s drawn for us before, but I can’t put my finger on it. And Lucy, bearing grapes, looks so genuinely happy for the invite. And THANKS A BUNCH is the perfect solve for today…the perfect day for giving thanks…

Jeff’s Gems? The vineyard on Lucy’s property is a nice touch. And I know we’ve seen that cat before…but it’s the picture in the frame that PICKED, I mean piqued my interest. Van Gogh’s “The Starry Night”? https://tinyurl.com/yhsmyvmw Hmm…Seems like such an odd choice…but then again…WINE not?

So, There you have it Folks, Done. Have a great day. Be well, stay safe…and aGAIN, for all those celebrating, enjoy the bounty…I wish you all the best…🍇🙋🏻‍♀️

PS: I do miss Mac King though…Just sayin’. So this one’s for him…🍷🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🤦🏻‍♀️ She watched him UNCORK the champagne, and thought he was pretty BRASH, because while everyone else was saying “THANKS A BUNCH”, she overheard him say that he’d “like to HITCH his wagon to her bar”…he might be witty, but having just arrived here from a small INLAND village, she felt he had a thing or two to learn about familiarity…🤦🏻‍♀️

🤷🏻‍♀️ She wanted to be on the beach, but his wish was INLAND,
    She didn’t think there’d be a HITCH…but longed to come home tanned…
Some wine she thought to UNCORK…and hoped she could persuade,
Him to agree with her and visit the last place they stayed
Not looking to be BRASH though, but yes…she did have a hunch…
    He would agree…and happily, she’d say…”Hon, THANKS A BUNCH”!🤷🏻‍♀️

  3. I uncorked a bottle of wine. It had a brash taste and little aftertaste.
I called the vintner and told him I loved it and he said “No sweat, I’ll send you a case!”
Wow, what a champ, I said THANKS A BUNCH!

  4. Happy Thanksgiving to all American jumblers! Hope the weather is nice, wherever you are and that the turkey is delicious!

  5. Came back into the winner’s column today where an unexpected Blind Solve came my way, along with easily solved anagrams….I’ll celebrate with extra whipped cream on my dessert !!! Had not heard the song so listened to a few bars…yes, very apropos, Angela. Wished the grandkids were around to dance along !!! Yes, Angela, you called it correctly when you described the “bounty” most would be experiencing today….to all, enjoy the day and of course, remember the unfortunate ones out there.

    • You were always a winner, Terry! Kudos on the solve! And hoping you and Marsha enjoy a great day…Take care! 🍇🙋🏻‍♀️

  6. To honour the dinner date
    She was keen to reciprocate
    The fruits of her labour
    Would delight her neighbour –
Bunched and resplendent on a plate!

Possibly you’ll have grapes today to finish off your Thanksgiving meal
