      And I’ve a feeling Dad is thinking SQUASH and eggs…when it’s all done)
      The Easter egg hunt has begun, marking the end of Lent…
      And for the kids it’s always been an “EGG-SIGHTING” EVENT…🥚

      So…Look for the clues…It’s an “organized hunt”…so that makes it an?…The kids are searching for…what…and pay close attention to what the Mom’s saying…”keep looking”…= 👀…And there’s quotation marks, meaning David’s FRYing to tell you that a play-on-words is on the MENU…

      Ok…I’ve given you hints for all “three” circled entries…But if that’s not enough, unSCRAMBLE our words… and I’m sure that’ll get your SUNNY SIDE UP…

      Jeff’s Gems? I found what I believe to be another 15 eggs in addition to the 6 that are visible amongst the 5 children…Starting from upper left, going clockwise… There are 2 under the bush, 2 under the next bush, 1 for sure under the third bush, ( maybe 2) 2 up in the tree, 2 below it, 2 under the bush at right, 1 behind the sprig of weeds, 1 that the girl at the last bush is reaching for, and possibly 2 more under it…EGG-traordinarily done, Jeff…

    • ✖️The ENCORE SQUASH competition, being held at the “VOYAGE Court”, was meant to run as a fine-tuned ENGINE, and should have been an EXCITING EVENT…but as the players began to GATHER, bad blood between two of them brought a STIGMA upon the games…✖️

      🚢 He hoped that social STIGMA wouldn’t rear its ugly head,
      And cause a separation on the VOYAGE…causing dread…
      This ENCORE cruise he’d hate to SQUASH, his ENGINE was so running,
      But last time they did GATHER, some Folks proved to be très cunning
      A meeting needs be called and right now he’s feeling hell-bent…
      To set things straight and guarantee an EXCITING EVENT…🚢

      • Like Jim, saw the E’s and G’s and just knew EGGS was a major part of the puzzle. And the V was a good indication for EVENT. Slipped right thru anagrams to finish up.

        Next, I need to check out the Pascal Lent you mentioned (though I seem to have heard the term before).

  2. What a Sunday Funday ! This is the first Sunday that I got all the anagrams and the jumble with just a little thinking and victorious solutions ! I am so happy ! First off , I love play-on-words and I’ve been doing that the whole Easter week about eggs and Easter ! I am so Eggstatic ! And that’s no Yolk ! I am so at home with this jumble ! When I saw all the G’s and E’s , EGG came right out and I said , I’ll bet it’s a play-on-words , and it was , cause I saw ING and SIGHT and It was EGGSIGHTING and of course EVENT was it ! What a way to have a blessed Easter ! And Angela I wish you the same of good health , happiness and family also !!!!!!!

  6. Good morning.Happy Easter to all. I had no problem with the words but was on a different path for the cartoon answer after putting down egg for the first part. Enjoyed the Autry song. I have a 78 rpm of him singing Round Her Neck She Wears A Yellow Ribbon. Until tomorrow take care.

    I note that the answer; “EGG-SIGHTING” EVENT

    has an extra unused N in it, while the word SQUASH has a circled H which is NOT in the answer. All other letters are correctly identified and used.

    I couldn’t come up with a word to replace SQUASH that used circled S and circled N to fix the error.

    • Don…I don’t know what you’re looking at, and maybe I’m not following you. but the puzzle answer calls for 2 N’s.. and they’re found in Encore and Engine. There is no unused N….One is in “SightiNg” and the other is in “EveNt. Just look at what you typed…there’s 2 N”s…As for the H, it IS found in Squash, and it IS part of the answer, utilized in the word “SigHt””. Here’s the correct puzzle below…showing all the correct letters needed for the solve. I hope this helps…🙋🏻‍♀️
