    🪮He longed to be a Lounge LIZARD back then… as did the rest,
    The hair, the shades, the attitude…and of course how they dressed…
    Teenage boys on a VOYAGE then, they KNELT before strange gods,
    The fashions were way out there…and the hair styles definitely odd…
    (I’m not quite sure about the CRUMB…looks like it fell apart,
    I tried to work it in somehow…but nothing sounded smart)…
    But as far as our guy today, his life may be in clover…
    The hair though? That’s another thing…it’s best he “MULLET” OVER!🪮

  3. 🙏🏻 When it came to the VOYAGE, sponsored by their LIZARD Cruise Lines, there wasn’t a CRUMB of evidence showing they’d been lax, but the owners still KNELT in prayer while the authorities felt the need to MULL IT OVER…🙏🏻

    Her son dressed as a LIZARD in his new costume du jour…
    Had sped through her clean kitchen on a VOYAGE to some land,
    That only a child of five could fully understand…

    She shakes her head and laughs a lot…trying to MULL IT OVER! 🦎

  4. More great narrative from you today, Angela, especially the Mr. T joke! I am fairly sure that the logo on mullet-man’s T-shirt is the Van Halen logo. I must confess that when I heard Van Halen’s first album, I was blown away by the sounds coming from Eddie Van Halen’s guitar – otherworldly! Thank you, Angela!

  7. Very cool and a fun one for a little small hump-day Wednesday ! I KNELT down to pick up a CRUMB and saw a LIZARD ! But the next time I travel , it will be a nice VOYAGE ! What a great jumble day ! I remember the MULLET , a haircut and the 80’s gave it away with the wanting to go back to that look ! This was a great one ! I too , am a Eddie Van Halen fan , and that was a good T-shirt ! Very well and informative post Angela , as usual ! Everyone have a great Wednesday !!!

  8. I was completely out of my element with today’s Jumble….never hearing of the MULLET hairdo. Being in a fighter jet squadron at that time, such hairdo’s were pretty much taboo. Therefore….only got the Jumble by a relentless search for words, and finally took a chance on OVER, and took those letters out. Still wasn’t sure of the outcome. Thanks for your fine musings again, Angela !!

  9. Kind of a tough hump day puzzle. Over popped into mind as the second word after having all the letters from the solved anagrams then mullet for the complete solve. Best wishes to all especially the PA residents with the capture of the escaped prisoner.

  12. 🤷🏻‍♂️It seems odd that the style’s not known,
    Since for decades so many have grown…
    Their hair just like this,
    For them it’s their bliss…
    Though it has caused some people to groan…🤷🏻‍♂️

    🪮The phrase one hears all of the time,
    ‘Bout business and party combined…
    Describes what it is,
    And our guy def liked his…
    So he’s thinking about his past prime…🪮

    🤷🏻‍♂️As a teen he probably wore it well,
    Blew it dry and for sure applied gel..
    But he’s a grown man now,
    And one wonders just how…
    He can style it and not pell-mell! 🤷🏻‍♂️

    🤷🏻‍♂️At his age it’s best he let it go,
    Doesn’t look like it’d be smart to grow…
    His hair like it was then,
    Despite what he may yen…
    It’s surprising he can’t see it though…🤷🏻‍♂️

    👎🏻 Funny that his wife don’t set him straight,
    That it’s best he not mess with his pate…
    Just leave well enough ‘lone,
    And not try to recomb…
    For somethings it’s too little too late! 👎🏻

  13. I was out early again today and just realized I hadn’t tackled jumble. I’ll read everything after I post. I had a little trouble with the answer. After playing around l came up with over for the last word which left me with mullet. I didn’t even realize that was a hair style back then. I wasn’t sure my answer was correct until I checked. Until tomorrow take care
