Good Morning, Everyone…🎬SCRAMBLING FOR THAT TOP SPOT 🎬
🎶 You got me GOING IN CIRCLES…Oh, oh, oh, round and round I go.You got me GOING IN CIRCLES…Oh, oh, oh, round and round I go…🎶…”Going in Circles” – The Friends of Distinction” 1969 https://tinyurl.com/8ksx8d7t
🎬 Top billing is the issue here, these stars just can’t agree,
They’re shooting on the NINTH day and insults are flying free…
It’s like they’re stuck within a TRENCH, and mired down with mud,
The question being who gets it…one or the other stud…
A FLANGE would come in handy…(maybe it’s not the best word),
To join these two together since its getting quite absurd…
Are DIRTY tricks at play right now…what happened to contracting?
Wasn’t top billing set in place before this INTERACTING? 🎬
You’d think that matters such as this would have been DIRECTED toward the agents of these two movie stars before contracts were signed and production began..but instead the DRAMA is PLAYING out on set…Looks like this could definitely SPELL trouble…
Ok…I could be wrong, but I don’t think Dwayne Johnson https://tinyurl.com/22w6f3z7 and Brad Pitt https://tinyurl.com/39s2a82u have ever appeared in a movie together. For that matter I don’t think Steve Spielberg, https://tinyurl.com/fkwnevsc who I believe the director to be, has ever been at the helm of any movie either has starred in…So, the comment about “the last movie” didn’t TICK. ET could just be me…but hey, I’m just going to ROLE with the punches here…After all, I didn’t write the SCRIPT…
So…INTERACTING…or Undermining?… Today, we find ourselves on the set of the movie, “Jumble”. I say that, because if you DIRECT your attention to the cap Steven’s wearing, plus the puzzle in The Rock’s hand, plus the placard to his right…plus the camera reading, “Jumblevision”, …(that’s a lot of EXTRA pluses, right)?…it pretty much SPELLS it out. But anyway, it’s not the TITLE that we’re here to PLAY with today, it’s the issue of whose FAME, I mean name gets top-billing…And from the looks of it, neither of our ACTors seems willing to RELEASE the spot…It’s as if they’re just going around in CIRCLES…They’re just not…INTERACTING… https://tinyurl.com/24w9twen Maybe they should just ROLE the dice…
Jeff’s Gem? If you look REEL closely, on Steven’s cap, right above the brim, there’s the letters OTW in a BOX. OFFICEially, as far as I know, they stand for “On the way”…which might fit the BILL, I supPOSE, since the movie is on the way, but in this case, it could also be an anagram of TWO…which would explain “the last movie” comment. Perhaps this is a SEQUEL?…And if you look even closer, below the letters, OTW, there are circles, like the ones in a Jumble puzzle…Hmm…To be honest? It’s all a bit of a MYSTERY…but then again, as I mentioned earlier, this whole SCENEario is no SHOOTING fish in a barrel…So, who knows…Maybe I’ll just wait for the REVIEWS…
So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And the way things are going, maybe they should just change the title of the movie to “Further On The Inordinate Express”…and call it a day…Because we all know that either way, with these two guys starring, it’s bound to be ROCK-solid once it hits the theaters… 🎬 🙋🏻♀️

🙇🏻♂️The students sat INTERACTING and agreed that they thought it to be a DIRTY trick when the word FLANGE showed up on the spelling test in place of TRENCH which they’d studied during the NINTH week of classes…🙇🏻♂️
🤷🏻♂️ With the NINTH go-around up on deck, they felt as if caught in a TRENCH,
And DIRTY pool was being heard…they so needed a mensch…
The jacket…add a FLANGE or not?…Would it be too distracting?
Agreement not forthcoming…despite all the INTERACTING! 🤷🏻♂️
Travel sleepies made for brain fog…Got a mindset for starting with ATT, which sent me down a wrong path. Jim and others saw the ACTING connection to their credit. See you TGIF. Terry

Thank you Thursday for quenching my thirst for a great jumble day ! I got all the anagrams ! Raised an eyebrow on FLANGE , but I was right with it ! The jumble , with no mention of ACTING , brought that word right out ! And what was left , was the solve ! Great way to quench my thirst this Thursday ! And Angela your song by The Friends of Distinction is really a good one from the archives of music in ‘69 ! And your very descriptive , analytical overall of the jumble , with words and on the hat and jumble vision was really interesting ! Nice one , so let’s bring on TGIF Friday !!!!!

I got INTERACTING but I couldn’t make it work with FANGLE which Mr Webster assured me was a word

I also saw fangel as listed in the dictionary online, but then switched to flange before striking out in the multi lettered cartoon answer. Chuck.

Good morning. Come on boys, I thought we were on “So you think your smarter than a fifth grader” with todays words. In between blinking the words appeared. The only word you had to think on was Flange. The cartoon answer was a different story though. With so many letters I had to put my thinking cap on to complete the solve. With two large egos, the simple solution would be to pick for high card to see who’s the most pompous. Loved you song choice Angela, it’s nice to put a face to the singers. I had no idea who the group was but knew the song. Until tomorrow take care.

The second word in this jumble is one letter removed from being TIDY. R is a dirty letter because it makes TIDY DIRTY. The third word has three possibilities. One is ENFLAG, which means to put a flag on. But I don’t think this word is used at all. It would lead to TINCRAFTING, which means to make objects out of tin, but I have never heard of this word. Another is FANGLE. If FANGLE is not a word, then its past tense, FANGLED, is not a word either, and so neither is NEWFANGLED (or NEW-FANGLED) which most definitely is a word. Using FANGLE as the third word results in no anagrams at all for the cartoon clue. The third one is the intended word, FLANGE, which is not a common word, with the most common usage being the overlap of a wheel on a train track.
