    • Good Morning, Everyone…🦖 REX MARKS THE LOT! 🦖

🎶 DINOSAURS lived a long time ago…They were terrible lizards, don’t you know?…Some ate plants and some ate meat…some ate fish and some ate beasts…🎶… “Dinosaur Song” – Johnny Cash 1975 https://tinyurl.com/mrnzkrnx

🦖They weren’t fuzzy, FURRY cute…no that would be a LAUGH,
And despite what most people think…they’re shorter than giraffes…
No matter what EXTENT they reached, ACCESS they did achieve,
To anything they wanted…it’s easy to perceive
But who’d have thought a creature such as this…I’ll call him Tex…
Would be a learned wordsmith? …A true “THESAURUS” REX! 🦖

So, how brilliant is this pun? It’s dazzling, it’s ingenious, it’s A CUTE as it can be!…SYNONYMS… https://tinyurl.com/38vjd8nk …I MEAN you gotta love ‘em…And for people such as myself, who love words, and have an inordinate affinity for puns…this solve is DINO-mite…

Ok. We can WRITE this one off easily…As long as one knows the definition of 1- SYNONYMS…and is familiar with the 2- DINOSAUR, TYRANNOSAURUS REX… https://tinyurl.com/2t9mstk3 , both given to us in our question…and grasps the reason for the LARGE array of words that Tex, the T-Rex is giving to Tristan, the Triceratops https://tinyurl.com/4fbd7p3p in our dialogue, plus gets the obviously DEFINITIVE MEANING of “writing a BOOK” = a THESAURUS? … https://tinyurl.com/3zde789d Not to mention, of course, our quotation marks, setting the stAGE for a punny WORD? ..Then this one’s just there for the JurrASSICING! The dinosaur was a “THESAURUS” REX…And ROGET…. https://tinyurl.com/yc5kjrzc Over and out!

Jeff’s Gems? The spewing volcano…the Pterodactyls up in the sky…and the Brachiosaurus dining on some palm fronds…and if you look real, real closely, at the bottom right hand corner…a beetle of some sort…it CRAWL adds up…

So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And I trust there’ll be no T-WRECKS after solving this one! 🦖🙋🏻‍♀️

    • 😂 The child went to such an EXTENT trying to give the huge, FURRY, stuffed TYRANNOSAURUS REX ACCESS to the tiny carrying case, that he made both his parents LAUGH out loud…😂

🦖The exhibit opened yesterday…with just the one ACCESS,
The EXTENT though of the waiting crowd def put it to the test…
The lobby selling FURRY toys, did nothing but cause grief,
It just made things more crowded…adding to some disbelief
No one could LAUGH, packed in so tight…no room to even flex…
So many wanting to observe TYRANNOSAURUS REX! 🦖

  2. Hello Wednesday ! I was hoping for a no-hump day today , but the hump wouldn’t move , and I thought that because this day is a special day for me , cause it’s my birthday today , that I would have a no-hump gift Wednesday ! But oh well ! The anagrams were there , except one had to LAUGH at me , but I just smiled and went on to the jumble ! I just couldn’t figure this one and it had a lot to do with the spelling of a T-Rex dinosaur ! And yes Angela this was a great pun jumble ,It just didn’t come to me , so I’ll just have a piece of cake and have a great day today and bring on thirsty-Thursday ! I’m gonna have a great day today !

    • Happy birthday, Jim! I always enjoy your positive energy here…many happy returns! 🎉🥳

    • Happy Birthday, today was also my late Dad’s birthday. Chuck.

  3. Close to a blind solve Hump-Day, but didn’t know how Thesaurus was going to be spelled. The ending REX a give-a-way, for sure. Will listen to your song, but am unfamiliar with such. Have a great Hump Day, Angela. Terry

  4. With a vocab as big as its bulk

This dino’s not merely a hulk

    The words it can spew

    Are many, not few

As around the ‘hood it does skulk!

Knowing synonyms is a very good trait

Gives you the edge in debate

You look bright, you look witty

    In prose or in ditty

To your reputation it adds lots of weight!

  5. Despite the multitude of letters and the long first word in quotes, the cartoon was a quick solve as were the anagrams. Happy day after Super Tuesday to one and all. Chuck.
