      I’m going to forgo the music, the puns and the levity today, since our puzzle deals with a serious subject….

      We see an instructor and two students at a Sign Language http://tinyurl.com/568fycy6 class, and the word they’re working on is Jumble. There are papers showing a Jumble puzzle before both students. And as seen on the whiteboard, the man’s signing a “J”, the woman an “E”. The instructor, her closed fists joined, is seen signing “together” … http://tinyurl.com/yf52u3mc …although I think her thumbs should be raised. The lack of dialogue is evident by the lines that would usually be drawn from the mouths of the characters, is instead extended from their hands. …And it GOES WITHOUT SAYING http://tinyurl.com/te9y5nys that the puzzle shows there’s no need for speaking….

      A major Gem? Jeff’s cartoons, along with almost all others, shows its characters drawn with only 4 fingers. http://tinyurl.com/4h4mvvhr But in our cartoon today, which might be a first, the three characters each have 5 fingers on each hand. Respect…

    • 🤦🏻‍♀️It GOES WITHOUT SAYING that the JOGGER, with her THINLY-veiled feeling of disgust, hated going through the SWAMPY water…and could only think of getting home to NESTLE in her bed …since the bad weather resulted in no PROFIT being gained and nothing to be JOYFUL about…🤦🏻‍♀️

      👎🏻 The area turned SWAMPY, seems no PROFIT would be made,
      They should have picked an indoor spot to do this buy and trade…
      But thinking that this JOGGER’s path would help them to be seen,
      They planned things much too THINLY…now it’s not what should have been…
      They NESTLE close, no one’s JOYFUL, it looks like they’re not staying…
      Poor venue choice? They all agree…it def GOES WITHOUT SAYING…👎🏻

    • well it goes way back, I started doing jumbles over 30 something years ago. I lived in Florida and it was my highlight of the day to sit down and use my brain for something besides a hat rack. I’ve enjoyed it since and sometimes it will stop me but that just makes me want to try that much harder if I can’t solve it I checked my answers when I’m finished. My husband says that I am the rain woman but I say no just trying to use what brain is left in this 72-year-old woman. He wants to take me down to a casino no it wouldn’t work. They’re fun they’re raining very enjoyable thank you

  2. It took two to tango this morning. Initially no blind solve, but anagrams were speedily unscrambled. We were looking at various words, like SAYS or SILENT until I uttered the word GOES…then Marsha followed suit with the last two words. Good Sunday teamwork.   3. A typical Sunday jumble ! The anagrams were good except 2 of them ! So I need to run cause JOGGER wasn’t there ! And that made me NESTLE in cause I was tired ! Now the jumble , I got going but it stumped me ! So I had to look it up ! But it was a good one ! I think my my brain was exhausted from yesterday’s response and Angela I was half kidding about Namaste , so I’ll be more up front and study more ! That GOES WITHOUT SAYING! lol ! Have a Funday Sunday !!!!!!!!

  5. Good morning. I hit the button for none of the above when in reality I spent an awful lot of time close to two hours because I put the paper aside then came back to it to finally solve the cartoon answer. Terry hit a soft spot with the two of them solving the puzzle together. My wife and I did that every day and especially enjoyed it on Sunday after mass to see who could get the answer first. That and just a warm hug would make me happy for the rest of the day. Until tomorrow take care.

  6. Had to resort to paper and pencil to finally solve the cartoon answer. At first I thought the first word was “says” and the last word “enough”, but couldn’t make a word out of “twgtiio”. All of a sudden “Goes Without Saying” just popped into my head. So it was a successful day after all. Happy Sunday everyone – it’s sunny and warm here today. Betty

  7. NESTLE took a while for me. The other words were easy. The answer took a lot of effort. I saw ING, but that didn’t help. For some reason, I found WITHOUT, which led to the answer. Nice workout today.
