He’s out to FETCH a pair and the Doc has some he calls great…
Confident enough to WAGER that old Drac won’t need DILUTE,
The blood that they will draw for him…’cause they’ve got pumps to boot!
And Drac is all excited, he’d dance CANCAN over this,
And since they’re still so novel, instructions would def be bliss…
He’s sitting there imagining his bite…hmm…from what angle?
So much now to consider with these dentures so NEWFANGLED!🧛🏻♂️
So you gotta admit, this is funny…And extremely clever. I laughed out loud, and actually started COFFIN…Yep…I’m sure David gave himself a laugh with this one too…in fact, I’d STAKE my Jumble reputation on it! And you know I’m VEIN when it comes to my Jumble prowess…
Ok…All old words, all new anagrams. And once again I have to say that it totally esCAPEs me how David does it every time. The man’s amazing…Or as my British friends would say…”He’s a BLOODY genius”! Anyway, we got off to a bit of a late start, which is rare, since all of the Early Birds are usually very PUNCTURE-al. They’re definitely not the TYPE to take this lightly, and there’s never any fighting TOOTH and PALE with us when it comes to our schedules. But you know how it is…sometimes you just BITE off a little more than you can chew…As for our words, with just the slightest bit of a tic at CANCAN, they were all a breeze. And I think the reason a few of them blinked at Cancan was because of the 2 N’s and the 2 A’s together. A little weird looking. But the solve? I SUNK my TEETH right into it…and with the dialogue giving us “latest” and “instruction manual”? It all led to NEW…(although manuals aren’t all that easy to come by today)…and you can’t think “Vampire” without thinking FANG…so I BIT…and sure enough? I DREW first BLOOD! Bingo! Our cartoon? Set in the dentists office, the starkness of the panel is unique. Except for the purple faces and hands of the Vampires, and the red of their tongues and the dentures, the rest is all black and white. Both characters, the toothless Dracula and the fanged Vampire Dentist look oddly familiar, but I just can’t seem to put my FANGer on it…and there’s no reason to stick my NECK out…You know the old saying, “Once BITTEN, twice shy”. But the dentures displayed, with the little pumps inside, and the fangs showing, are definitely a DRAW. What a great little inVEINtion, right? And Jeff did a FANGtastic job in adding those two little bats hanging upside down from the ceiling in the background…I tell ya, sometimes he can be a regular Vincent VEIN Gogh!
So, There you have it Folks, Done. Have a good one…Be well, stay safe…and I’m sure you all realize that Vampires aren’t real…Unless you COUNT DRACULA…🧛🏻♂️🙋🏻♀️

No way could they DILUTE it, a scandal it did cause,
And people thought to WAGER if perhaps it broke some laws
But it caught on despite whatever might have been entangled…
And it’s still danced today, though it’s no longer called NEWFANGLED! 💃🏻

I had a pretty easy time with the jumble , with 2 cc , 2 aa , and 2 nn , could only be CANCAN ! 🎶 Girls do you think that you can learn to do the CANCAN , you will find it positively fastenating , . So kick as high as you can , when you do the CANCAN, come on out and show us how it goes 🎶 !! Couldn’t get it out of my head , had to sing it ,, I would WAGER that the vampire could take a bite out of things that were dangled with his NEWFANGLED dentures so he could DILUTE anything he would FETCH ! Blind solve with just an itsy-bitsy little help from the sidelines. Looked at cartoon puzzle and pretty much had no idea….then, as a Dracula afficianado (sp)…. knew FANG must be in there somewhere.
