And here come these two frisky moles…doing all that they could…
To tear up all their hard work…they sure did have a KNACK,
For ruining what the couple did…they now face the moles’ tracks…
They’ll need someone to GUIDE them, so now it’s their INTENT
To contact pest control but in the interim they just vent…
And she’s red as a RADISH, her last nerve close to breaking…
They’ll need to undo damage here…from the moles’ UNDERTAKING! 🦫
I think by now most of you know how I feel about vermin…Squirrels, raccoons, moles…by any other name…vermin. So as cute and clever as this puzzle may be…I’m going on record to say that this deMOLEition derby I could do without…But the CHEW must go on…so…
Ok. Our words…Once again, all old favorites…but today, all new anagrams. I tell you, it never ceases to amaze me how David does this… Day in day out…Unreal…Obviously our guy really DIGS deep to COME UP with these anagrams…Anyway, two Early Birds saw red with RADISH, but they quickly recovered, and got right back on TRACK. The solve? With all that UNDER ground burrowing visible? And the great dialogue…”A lot of work”,…”finally done”…and “Worth it”? Let’s just say that it was MOLE-ded perfectly…Easy, breezy …(but it still made me queasy)!
And our cartoon…Pretty much a case of what you see is what you get. A yard, three well-trimmed bushes, and a lawn with a whole lot of damage. But what did strike me as funny was the mole still UNDER ground…who seems to have done most of the work…is the female member of the pair. And we know this because if you look closely, you can see that she has eyelashes…and that’s how Jeff distinguishes the difference between his male and female creatures (and/or characters). Hmm…I’m not too sure I’m DIGGING that!

Good morning ! I had quite the UNDERTAKING trying to find the jumble , I got “under”then wrote the remaining letters down , but forgot one letter and that was not my INTENT ! Otherwise I would’ve got it , cause I didn’t need a GUIDE for the words . They were a KNACK, I just have to write the letters down more carefully. I couldn’t find a 🎵song that was well known about moles , so I’ll just leave you with what Barney said , “ holy mole.y Andy !! I’m redder than a RADISH ! Everyone have a good day !!

The puzzle was too cryptic for a blind solve, although even had I thought UNDER was a part of it, don’t think I would have progressed to a full solve. Anagrams were easy, took out the ING and the rest fell into place. I’ll check out the song…don’t think I have heard before.

Anagrams were easy,but with the multitude of letters,the cartoon gave reason to pause.But ing was an obvious ending,followed by the complete undertaking answer.Speaking of moles,they can cause real problems if they invade the well manicured fairways and greens of a golf course.I’ve seen that happen at our local university course.
There’s the argument that they aerate the soil, and eat grubs…but let’s face it, Prof, no one wants them…Yet…there they are! 😂 Have a good one, Professor. Be well and stay safe…🦫🙋🏻♀️
