CARTOON ANSWER:

“SITE SEEING”

WELCOME BACK,

PUZZLE PLAYERS!

🏡 PICTURE PERFECT PROPERTY

Today’s cartoon takes us to a new housing development, where a couple has pulled over to check out the available lots and admire the surrounding landscape. As they take in the property, it quickly becomes clear that the location is doing most of the selling, with ocean views, a distant skyline, and a touch of woodland all adding to the appeal. Between the camera coming out and the thought of waking up to that backdrop every day, it’s easy to see why they stopped to take in the scenery.

🔎 Jumble Jeff’s Jems

➤ DREAM LOT

The husband and wife are standing together next to the vehicle, taking in the property and the scenery around it. He’s dressed in a short-sleeved shirt and pants, while she’s wearing a short-sleeved shirt and pants as well, with shoulder-length hair, and she has her camera out as they admire the view.

➤ BEAUTIFUL VIEWS

The development board is titled BEAUTIFUL VIEWS and shows a layout of 16 home lots. Four circular turnaround areas appear around the layout, while the center seems to feature a fountain in the middle, flanked by a playground on the left and what looks like a dog park on the right.

➤ STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION

In the background, there’s a bulldozer, several flags marking the lot lines, a wooded area, and a distant skyline with several tall buildings and a crane. Beyond that are water views, with Jeff’s sinking sailboat visible on the far left side of the water.

🧠 FINAL SOLVE

The final answer was a 10-letter anagram that solved into a “4 – 6” layout. Our Tuesday puzzle looked a lot more intimidating than it turned out to be. With a quick glance at the cartoon and letter layout, I figured this one was best left until all of the clue words were solved so I could see what kind of view the remaining letters offered. Once available, the repeated E’s and the double S’s out front helped SEEING come into view. From there, SITE was no trouble to construct from the remainder to seal the deal. If today’s puzzle slowed you down, our biggest nudges were the couple looking out at the view and doing a little SIGHTSEEING, while the available building lots gave us the SITE needed to turn that familiar word into the property-themed “SITE-SEEING.”
