The final answer was an 11-letter anagram that solved into a 4 + 3 + 4 layout. This one was cracked in a hurry. With the broken window at the center of attention, my mind immediately went to words like PANE, SILL, and even OPEN AND SHUT. Once all four clue words were solved straight down the line, the U helped point me toward SHUT. OPEN was already staring back at me, leaving AND to latch this one closed.
