Today’s cartoon brings us to a coffee pickup counter, where things go from routine to competitive in about two seconds. Two baristas, both wearing headbands like this is suddenly a championship round, trade playful jabs over who pulled the better espresso shot. One calls themselves a true professional, while the other fires back that he taught her everything she knows. The customer smiles, thanks them both, and reaches for her drink as the back-and-forth continues. With the espresso machine freed up and another customer waiting in line, it feels like perhaps these coworkers are having a little too much fun on the clock.
