Paper People Problems
Today’s cartoon drops us inside an origami shop that’s trying its best to stay afloat. The shop’s name, IN-CREASE YOUR FUN, hangs in the window with its bottom edges folded up like the craft they’re trying to sell. Folded creations line every corner, but the customers just aren’t showing up. At the counter, the owner admits he thought more people would buy their paper, while his partner is already talking about making a going-out-of-business sign. With sales this slow and margins paper-thin, the shop seems to be approaching its final chapter.

🧩 Final Solve
The layout for the final solve was an anagram of 14 letters, arranged in an 8 + 6 layout. With the whole cartoon centered on paper, I had CREASE and FOLDED floating around in my head before I put pencil to clue letters. The only thing that was going to be a surprise was the first word. As soon as I solved BISHOP and dropped the B into the lineup, the rest of the answer unfolded on its own. A straightforward solve that didn’t require any extra smoothing-out!

🍽️ Food Holiday – November 29 🍽️
▪ National French Toast Day — Today is all about the golden stacked favorite that never lets you down. French toast hits that sweet spot between breakfast comfort and dessert energy, and on a cold November morning it just feels right. Whether you like it dusted with powdered sugar or soaking in warm maple syrup, this one is a reliable classic that deserves every bit of its spotlight. SOURCE
▪ Maize Day — The day after Thanksgiving puts the focus on maize, the crop that shaped entire cultures long before our modern holiday tables came along. It is a good moment to slow down and appreciate how much of our comfort food still traces back to this single plant. Cornbread, casseroles, chowders, and even the popcorn you grab for a movie all tie into the long story of maize. A fitting follow up to a feast that started with it. SOURCE
💬 Say What
“A sheet of paper is a possibility. The folds decide what it becomes.” — Éric Joisel (origami artist)
🥄 Viral Recipe
Sweet Potato Casserole
This one never stops trending because it hits that perfect middle ground between comfort and sweetness. The base stays smooth and warm while the top browns up just enough to give each bite a soft crunch. It holds together well for serving, tastes even better the next day, and always pulls people back for seconds. When a recipe keeps its spot year after year, it is usually because it delivers without fail, and this one does exactly that.
🛒 Daily Drops
▪ McDonald’s Peppermint Mocha — This drop is getting early buzz because it brings back the full holiday flavor lineup at McCafe. The peppermint hits first, the chocolate rounds it out, and the whole thing feels like a lighter holiday drink that still has enough sweetness to count. Fans are already saying it tastes better than last year’s batch, and the timing makes it an easy grab for Black Friday stops.
SOURCE▪ Wendy’s 67¢ Frosty (Black Friday Only) — This is an easy win because nobody expects a Frosty deal this cheap during the holiday rush. The offer covers both chocolate and vanilla, and there are no hoops to jump through besides using the app. With prices climbing everywhere else, this one stands out as a rare treat that feels like an old school fast food promo.
SOURCE▪ Taco Bell x Hollister — This collab is getting attention because it pairs Taco Bell’s neon look with Hollister’s clean California styling. The drop includes tees, hoodies, and accessories that use Taco Bell colors in a way that still fits the Hollister vibe. It is limited edition, and early posts suggest the purple pieces will be the first to disappear.
