Today’s cartoon drops us inside an origami shop that’s trying its best to stay afloat. The shop’s name, IN-CREASE YOUR FUN, hangs in the window with its bottom edges folded up like the craft they’re trying to sell. Folded creations line every corner, but the customers just aren’t showing up. At the counter, the owner admits he thought more people would buy their paper, while his partner is already talking about making a going-out-of-business sign. With sales this slow and margins paper-thin, the shop seems to be approaching its final chapter.

🧩 Final Solve

The layout for the final solve was an anagram of 14 letters, arranged in an 8 + 6 layout. With the whole cartoon centered on paper, I had CREASE and FOLDED floating around in my head before I put pencil to clue letters. The only thing that was going to be a surprise was the first word. As soon as I solved BISHOP and dropped the B into the lineup, the rest of the answer unfolded on its own. A straightforward solve that didn’t require any extra smoothing-out!
