The final answer was an 11-letter anagram that would solve into 2 words of 8 + 3. Without anything jumping out right away, the G hinted at an -ING suffix. Removed from the mix, the rest of the answer really started to snug up. TRAINING slid into place first, and BRA followed right after. A neat little lift at the finish, with the answer offering just enough support to hold it all together.
