Got my thirst quench this Thursday and with the help of suzie ! The anagrams threw us both off on HECTIC and DAYBED ! But we got the letters down and saw the jumble , about a bicycle and suzie said PEDDLE ! And I said yeh ! And the quotation marks and what was left was THEM and that Biked us home !! Tough day searching for the Jumble….the E-edition of newspaper hasn’t arrived and couldn’t bring it up using the archives. Oh well, that’s another issue (ha, a pun). Anyway, found the puzzle thru Chicago Tribune and solved that way. I, too, struggled with DAYBED. With letters in hand, took out THEM and the rest was easy. Wow, Tom Waits goes back awhile !!! I listen to her all time….She had an amazing voice…but unfortunately a sad life. Funny thing though, her song, “Pretty Little Baby” recently made an amazing resurgence on TikTok. It’s been all over every platform of social media for weeks. Everyone, and I mean everyone, especially people who never knew of it before are now using in all different sorts of formats. It’s impossible to get away from it lately. And it came as such a surprise to her, and she considered it such a blessing. Life is funny…. And I know it might sound foolish, but I’m just happy thinking that she’s finally reunited with Bobby Darin… the one true love of her life. I’m definitely a romantic, and I also very much believe in the afterlife…. and I hope it’s good to her..🙏🏻❤️

The Jumble today was a bit of a challenge. I had great difficulty with “hectic”. While I figured out Daybed, I thought that it was incorrect because Dabbed is also a word. However, either word fits into the puzzle.
