    🍪 Ruth Wakefield, we applaud her, with chocolate she did well,
    Changing how we eat cookies…and oh how they do sell…
    (I’m thinking SENTRY, POCKET…and throw in COMMA, too,
    I bit off more than I could chew…so bid them all adieu)…
    And while Ruth owned the “Toll House Inn” and surely used an ONION,
    I can’t make sense of it either…I tried…but none, none, none)…
    But as for these old Chocolate Chips…our Ruth she was the rookie…
    And proved with all those little bits? That she was ONE SMART COOKIE…🍪

Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend, who not too long ago went to the OREO website, hit “Accept all COOKIES”, and was so disappointed when he got nothing. Feeling beaten and BATTERED, he ended up eating so much cookie dough, that he became violently ill. A classic case of overDOUGHes…I swear, for someone who professes to be so smart, he takes one too many WHISKS…and just ends up proving that he’s nothing more than an ACADEMIA nut…🍪🙋🏻‍♀️

  7. TGIF ! I’ve been pretty busy the last couple days and just didn’t have the time to comment , so today is a relief ! I had trouble with one anagram , SENTRY , but I got the jumble after I got ONE and then COOKIE and SMART was there ! I love and missed this jumble !   9. Considering what Chocolate Chips are called, my initial thought was ONE SMART MORSEL. Started unscrambling words to see all the O’s and figured it must be COOKIE. Anyway, a good starting guess. Thanks for a cleverly penned TGIF post this morning. Hope you can rest well over the weekend. Terry
