  1. Good Morning, Everyone…📚THE WRITE PLACE, AT THE WRITE TIME📚

🎶One RIGHT AFTER THE OTHER…🎶…”One Right After The Other” – Clyde McPhatter 1960  https://tinyurl.com/usdesu4k

📚We’ve seen illustrious Mr King so many times before,

A PARADE of his stories loom…with he suspense and gore…

Our appetite grows WETTER…our minds ADRIFT for sure…

As characters BEHAVE in ways that thrill readers galore

(I doubt that IMPORT fits well here…and TALLER is another)…

But rest assured with King’s stories?…One “WRITE” AFTER THE OTHER…📚

    A dog and a garage? …CUJO just imagine?…

Once again today, I was sure our solve had been seen before…But I guess it’s just that we’ve seen Stephen King https://tinyurl.com/2s365am7  WRITEn about so many times in the past that it all starts to meld together…This one from February 13th, 2019 https://tinyurl.com/mpj78tu2 immediately came to mind, as did the ones from January 09th, 2014 and April 15th, 2013…amongst OTHERs…but alas, I guess it was just the word “WRITE” that DREW me in…Anyway…

So…Today… Stephen King, speaking about the plot for “CUJO” https://tinyurl.com/4bza53f9 as we can READ in his dialogue. (Which is true, in fact. Mr King himself had an encounter with a crazed St Bernard at a visit to an auto body shop in Maine)…And the person he’s speaking with is amazed at how he’s already managing to begin working (=WRITE) on a next book…one “WRITE” AFTER THE OTHER https://tinyurl.com/2fww7rpj …And we’re ending our week LEAFing behind another easy one…In fact I said to one of the Early Birds…”MAC,ABRE-z for sure”…Let’s face it, with King being a WRITER, those quotation marks definitely closed the BOOK on this one…and made it a lot easier than some AUTHORS…And the reference to ‘THE OTHER’?…GOD that’s clever…(IYKYK)…

Jeff’s💎Gems? The books being shown…”The Dead Zone” https://tinyurl.com/467wrzn9 and “Fire Starter” https://tinyurl.com/2b87yaht …DEAD giveaways…And even if you’re not familiar with Mr King’s works?…This is why God gave us Google…

So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And today I’ll LEAF you with a bit of Stephen King’s humor…”I saw toast in a cage at the zoo….the sign read: BRED in captivity”… 📚🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 👍🏻 While watching the PARADE of ships ADRIFT, one RIGHT AFTER THE OTHER, a pair of teens present didn’t BEHAVE, and the TALLER of the two…spilling drinks…had gotten himself WETTER and wetter as time went by…until he was finally escorted away just as the IMPORT ships were coming into view…👍🏻

⛴️ The small IMPORT ships were lined up…ready to come ADRIFT,
And one boatsman got WETTER…poor guy needed a lift…
The PARADE at a standstill…an engine won’t BEHAVE,
It looks to be a TALLER ship that now seems to have caved
They’re hoping it can be repaired…as not to stall another…
‘Cause oft times you’ll see ships fail…one RIGHT AFTER THE OTHER…⛴️

  3. 👑 He’s King of the macabre tale,
Has had audiences def known to wail…
    Stories so filled with gore,
    And readers clamor, “More”…
Of the twisted plots his books reveal…👑

👍🏻Such a brilliant mind has Mr King,
To come up with these tales on a wing…
    His books total so many…
(Like the “wise” goes with “Penny”)…
As one after another he brings…👍🏻

📚With Carrie he started his quest,
On his way to prove he was the best…
    And others followed suit,
    His prowess taking root…
Each of his tales passing the test…📚

😱 So today once more we see him here,
As he readies more words to appear…
    In another great book,
    Leaving his readers shook…
And filled with that sense of true fear…😱

🧢It’s a tip of the cap, Mr King,
For all the excitement you bring…
From your books to big screen,
It’s all worth to be seen…
    Here’s to kudos praising everything!…🧢

  5. An error did me in this morning. My initial thoughts were correct “WRITE AFTER”, but couldn’t think of the last puzzle word. So I unscrambled words, but used RATTLE instead of TALLER. Anyway, I didn’t have the correct letters to make OTHER. Enjoyed your post, as always, Angela. Enjoy your Sunday Funday. Terry

  6. Good morning! A quick solve of the anagrams after a pause on taller looking like latter but then despite the clever cartoon ‘write’ was an obvious choice for the first word leading to the cartoon solution. Chuck.

  7. Hello Sunday funday ! It’s always fun , but that doesn’t mean I’ll solve all of the anagrams and jumble ! Which was the case today ! I had trouble with three of the anagrams , and I was heading close to the right path on the jumble , with Written or Write , and After but it just didn’t come ! But your post Angela , was very nice and it always helps ! So I’ll be ready for tomorrow , Monday !!!!

  8. One more thing: can you post the kids Jumble for this Big Kid? Thanks. Chuck.

  9. ‘Wetter’ took me a minute. I thought of that word quickly and knew it should be right but then questioned myself looking it up and seeing mostly German in a search. Funny how simple adjectives can sometimes seem strange when doing the Jumble.

Also, thank you for posting the Kids Jumble. I print it out every Sunday.

    • I just Googled it and saw the same, Mateo. 🤷🏻‍♀️ How strange! ..And you’re welcome. I print out a few copies too…the kids love doing it…📚🙋🏻‍♀️
