WATER you know…We just had Max, the frisky pup from “Operation” three days ago…and today here’s another canine-related puzzle…If one didn’t know FUR sure that it’s May…one might think these are the DOG days of August…
So…Here’s the DIRT…Today it’s the “BARK Avenue Salon”, where we find our groomer, Lena SHORN giving a bath (SHAMPOOING) to a poodle, the FETCHingly adorable Winnie the POOF. And as I live and BREED, Winnie has no BONE to pick with the bath at all…she’s PAWSitively enjoying it…I guess it’s because she’s…A “SHAMPOODLE”…And just LICK that, with BATH in our question, WASH in our dialogue, and an obviously POODLE-looking dog getting SHAMPOOED….plus those tell TAIL quotation marks…COMB on, Folks…there’s no way anyone SUD have any trouble with this solve…Talk about easy, breezy Mondays…this one was a WALK in the PARK…

Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend, who recently SHEARed with us the news that he’d started a dog grooming business…and it appears he’s beCOMBing quite a master at the craft. He said, “I SHIH TZU not. While it was a little RUFF at FURst, I SNIPPED away at my faults, and now I’m looking to be a CUT above the rest”. Truth be told, I was PAWSitively stunned, since he’s always been known to be such an hotDOG when making decisions…But I guess after all his TAILS of woe, he’s finally unLEASHed some TAILent, and found something HAIR that he’s good at. No BARKING up the wrong tree again…and maybe this time he’s NAILed it…Anyway, I’m WOOLY happy for him…and I’d like to think that I’ve been a PAWSitive influence….After all, I’ve DOGgedly been trying to POUND some sense into him for years…🐩🙋🏻♀️

🐕🦺 With the instructions on YouTube looking SPOTTY, she knew she couldn’t HANDLE trying to GROOM the POODLE on her own, so she brought him to “FLASH Groomers” instead…🐕🦺
🤦🏻♂️ The GROOM was dressing in a FLASH, and SPOTTY were his moves, He lost the HANDLE on his time…he’s so out of the groove By now he should have been done…the whole kit and caboodle… And he still has to get crosstown to pick up their toy POODLE…🤦🏻♂️

🤷🏻♀️Lena wanted to start her own gig, And was looking to really go big, So dog grooming she chose, Shampoos and a hose… But found some days a whirligig…🤷🏻♀️
🤦🏻♀️ There are some dogs who go with the drill, Don’t get anxious as tub starts to fill… But there’s others who flip, And some are known to nip… Trust…the job’s many times not a thrill…🤦🏻♀️
🐕🦺 But Lena does give it her all, Whether grooming a big dog or small… She has patience and grit, Works to get dogs to sit.. And trust…those big dogs are a haul…🐕🦺
🐩 And today, she has a perfect pet, Winnie seems to love getting all wet… She’s as calm as can be, Loves shampoo…we can see… And gives Lena no reason to fret…🐩
👏🏻👏🏻 Dogs like this do make our Lena smile, No worries ‘bout error and trial… It’s a bath goes so well, And Winnie does excel… Beats all other dogs by a mile!👏🏻👏🏻
Hooray for a start of a new jumble week ! Today was Dog-gone good ! I got all the anagrams and the jumble I was looking at with Suzie and 5 minutes went by and she said SHAMPOODLE ! I checked all the letters and that was it ! We both yelled out and smiled ! This was a great start of the week ! And Angela. I loved that song by Paul Anna ! Good choice ! Ok let’s get some tacos and bring on taco-Tuesday !!!!

Good morning. You were right Angela about it being a walk in the park but not really enjoyable. I got the words before I blinked my eyes twice and once the letters were down I had the last part of the word as poodle but coming up with sham for the remaining part I was disappointed with the answer. I guess it’s because I really really had the ones in quotation marks. Loved the song choice and all the puns in you telling your story. Until tomorrow take care.
