  1. Good Morning, Everyone…🕰️WHEN TIK TOK BITES THE DUST!🕰️

    🎶It’s just a MATTER OF TIME…🎶…”It’s Just A Matter Of Time” – Brook Benton 1959  https://tinyurl.com/yvtuumrn

🕰️ If they EMERGE unscathed from this, a miracle ensued,
They better hope their Mom today is in a placid mood…
The daily GRIND of housework, her OOMPH most days is shot,
    She doesn’t FLAUNT her home’s decor…but that clock had a spot…
Upon the wall for many years…to her it was sublime…
And it looks like the end result? It’s a “MADHER” OF TIME!

Hmm…Two days in a row, David’s giving us an answer with a hyphenated word in quotes. I personally think it makes looking for the solve that much easier…This one took no TIME at all…Always looking for an idiom, MATTER OF TIME came to me in a SECOND…but there’d be no pun, or call for quotation marks with that…But that’s where HOUR Jumble skill CHIMES in…Ok…HER we go…

So…Today we find ourselves at what proved to be half TIME of a football game. Two little brothers, probably excited about the games today and tomorrow, decided to spend some TIME tossing the ball…only they STRUCK the clock on the wall…and BLOW and behold…there’s no way their Mom’s not going to be MAD…HER favorite clock broken…And no amount of glue, tape or excuses is going to help them this TIME…Will Mom notice? Of course she will…and it’s just a…”MAD-HER OF TIME…&nbs https://tinyurl.com/ykbpn6yz; …Well PLAYED, David…But easy, breezy…and we’re THREW here…

Jeff’s💎Gems?…Pretty cut and dry today…except for PUSSibly the cat…Jeff’s not a FAN…but I guess he figured he’d go for BROKE…

So…There you have it, Folks…Done Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend who almost broke his family’s treasured WEAVING machine by tossing around a football…It’s been used for generations as the place where names were carved designating the next person in line to inherit the family fortune…It’s an HEIRLOOM…🕰️🙋🏻‍♀️

    California ❤️

    …And a Shout 🗣️Out to David..All new anagrams today…🔠🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🙇🏻‍♀️She knew it was just a MATTER OF TIME before the daily GRIND would zap her OOMPH…and she’d EMERGE out from under all that work with nothing left to FLAUNT…🙇🏻‍♀️

☕️The barista showed a lot of OOMPH while he would GRIND the beans,
He truly loved to FLAUNT about, the man was far from green
And later coffee would EMERGE…robust, definitely prime…
The wait to drink a cup? …Surely was worth the MATTER OF TIME…☕️

  3. 🤷🏻‍♀️Boys will be boys is the phrase,
And they do have their own little ways…
    But sometimes they can,
    Devise a play plan..
    That can ruin a Mother’s whole day…🤷🏻‍♀️

🏈 Playing football indoors…not so bright,
When there’s always a chance you just might…
    Toss errantly…and catches missed,
Put a stop to a little boys bliss…
    As you’re faced with a terrible fright…🏈

    🕰️ Mom’s treasured clock…took a fall,
When that ball landed right on the wall..
    And now the clock’s done,
    And they’ve only begun…
To figure out how they can stall…🕰️

🤦🏻‍♀️They’re hoping that someway they’ll mend,
The clock…but it has met its end…
    And will Mom get mad?
    Most likely tell Dad?
Lets face it…it’s mostly the trend…🤦🏻‍♀️

🤷🏻‍♀️Here’s hoping our boys make things right,
Since there’s no way of hiding the sight…
    Of Mom’s broken clock…
    Hopefully they’ll take stock…
And this won’t end in serious plight!🤷🏻‍♀️

  5. Good morning. Recovered from yesterday’s missed word but my immediate answer for the cartoon was Matter of Time but the first word was in quotation marks so that wasn’t the entire answer. After putting the letters down I finally got it. Enjoyed your perfect song choice Angela. Until tomorrow take care.

  6. My first choice was MAT-TER of TIME…but didn’t see how that could fit…and must admit, I didn’t see the MAD which could have fit. And in a way, MAD-HER doesn’t seem like it rolls off the tongue either. Oh well, I get the play on words, and Angela’s wonderful song…and we’ll mosey on along to Sunday. Terry

    • Tks, Terry…I always liked the sing…And I think we’re all going to be thinking MATTER…but the Mom getting MAD does make sense…even though the “MAD-HER” might sound a bit odd…Have a good one…🏈🙋🏻‍♀️

  7. Good morning, Angela. It was a good blind solve today. Enjoy the snow on Sunday.

  8. Wow ! Another tough one , makes two in a row ! I got all the anagrams either a little pause on EMERGE , thinking Meeger , but I got it ! Now the jumble had me in the right TIME frame ! But I thought it was similar to Paul’s version and the I saw it ! And your song was spot on Angela ! Good Saturday post to head into the weekend ! So let’s have a fun day Sunday !!!!

  9. A surprisingly good jumble solve this morning after a pause on the oomph anagram, and the hyphenated in quotes cartoon. All in all a Saturday Jumble success. Chuck,

  10. Fun Jumble today. Took my time and got through the anagrams and the final solve. The cartoon brought back memories of my brother and me as we broke my mother’s favorite vase back in the 1960s. We blamed it on the cat. She knew the truth. Mothers always know. Have a great day everyone. Thanks, Stan

  11. Oh no, we’ve broken our mom’s best clock

Now it won’t go tick-ety tock

But we’ll fix it up quick

With some tape it will stick

And she won’t get a terrible shock!

    Helen

    • Take another look. The word EMERGE is definitely correct. The R in the word isn’t needed for the solution, which calls for just one R, and that’s given in the word GRIND. The correct letters needed are MEE…🙋🏻‍♀️
