    The likeness was uncanny… and he well deserved be paid…

    The customer complained though and felt that he should DWELL,

    Upon the fact he wasn’t pleased…but Jeff said..”Go to h- – -“! 

    (I’m not seeing where RAISIN or YACHT will come in store…

    I tried to fit them in)…but just like Jeff I said…LAST “DRAW”🖊️

    I find it amusing that our question states “Another customer”…You mean to tell me there’s more than one person who’d be displeased with Jeff’s work? I doubt it… C’mon…let’s DRAW the line here… 

    So…Today…An ARTful dodger…And I don’t mean Jeff. It appears that this customer who asked to be DRAWn, is now trying to wEASEL out of paying Jeff his $15…claiming the caricature doesn’t look like him. More surprisingly though is the fact that Jeff’s reaction seems so out of CHARACTER. But then again, if we’re to believe that Jeff’s heard this song before…well then who can blame him for getting so GRAPHIC with his response…That “I’m done”?…And the pen being flung in the air?…Along with the tell-tale quotation marks?…Yep, he’s had it..It’s the…(Last Straw) = LAST “DRAW”…. https://tinyurl.com/mrywfvw4 And let’s FACE it, Folks…Jeff definitely doesn’t need to go SCRAMBLING for work…Nor did we have to go scrambling to get another easy, breezy solve…

He signed up for some classes…but at the very first one the teacher asked him why he was just sitting and staring at an empty canvas. He answered, “I’m DRAWING A BLANK”…He’s lucky they refunded his money before the INK even dried on his check…🖊️🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🤷🏻‍♀️He christened the YACHT “RAISIN The Roof”, and even wrote a BALLAD about it…but it was the LAST STRAW for his wife when instead of coming home he decided to DWELL at sea for days at a time…🤷🏻‍♀️

    🤦🏻‍♂️He didn’t want to DWELL on it, the RAISIN crop that failed,
    He lost a ton of money…the YACHT purchase? …Forced to bail
    A sad BALLAD ran through his head…he’d hate to end up poor…
    But he realized the loss this time could def to be the LAST STRAW…🤦🏻‍♂️

    • Managed a Monday blind solve today. Heard the pun you pointed out….DRAW sounds like STRAW when placed after LAST. Sometimes I’ve missed those type of puzzles.. but was lucky today. Great kick off to the week. Thanks for posting some interesting info, Angela

  5. Not a typical Monday jumble ! The anagrams were good except , YACHT, that one ! Now the jumble , I thought was going to be a typical Monday solve , but I was stumped ! I was thinking the whole time about the Straw that broke his back or din’t work ! But that was not there ! I’m really disappointed in myself for not thinking this through , but I’ll try to make up for it tomorrow on taco-Tuesday ! And again , Angela , your song choice and your friend that drew a blank made up for my no-solve ! It always helps my brain to move forward ! Have a good start of the week , Monday !!!!!

    • The solve was Straw, Jim. The presence of the quotations marks was the hint to Straw being punned as DRAW…Jeff was DRAWING…So it was the LAST STRAW = LAST “DRAW”…🖊️🙋🏻‍♀️

  7. Easy blind solve today. As I worked on the anagrams it took an extra minute to come up with Yacht. That word has always been a difficult spelling for me. You made me smile Angela with your friend that was drawing a blank. Thanks, Stan

  8. Draw your own conclusion, but I like Mondays because they are actually my work Tuesday and I am two steps toward the weekend. Easy anagrams and solve have me “raisin” the roof. I won’t dwell on the result and don’t think anyone should write a ballad about it. Cheers.

  10. I wasn’t sure of the spelling of raisin and yacht, but after sorting that out last came to mind followed by the complete last draw solution. Though I didn’t think of the last straw connection. Chuck.

  11. Today yacht is one correct answer, but so is tachy as in tachycardia. You should list all alternatives.
