Yes, they’re LIFTing = PICK UP…the boxes, but she wishes they’d MOVE FASTER = PICK UP THE PACE… https://tinyurl.com/yd6wyehv …And our dialogue…”further along”, “moving it along” and “don’t charge overtime” definitely SEALS THE CASE on this easy, breezy one today…
Jeff’s💎Gems? First and foremost, the aforementioned Apartment 3G comic strip. Jeff’s always one to give a nod to fellow cartoonists. The 3G on Lauren’s door, the 4G seen on the door across the hall, and the intercom visible on the wall HAUL let us know that we’re in an apartment building. Note the doorstop too…Jeff always PAYS attention to detail. Like with the LIFTing belt the man at front is wearing…But figuring the door opens into the living room, one wonders if they’re just piling up the boxes and not putting them directly into the proper rooms. We see “Kitchen” and “Bedroom” clearly marked…yet there they all are…in one spot. No wonder Lauren’s feeling BOXED in…Can’t blame her for feeling the WEIGHT of the whole thing…
So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend who was hired as a moving man. Seems he didn’t last long though…He was so overly sensitive while handling every box, that he was just too slow. Figures…he always did carry a lot of emotional baggage…📦🙋🏻♀️

🌲 The COUPLE was HAPPY they got to PICK UP THE PACE by using a KNIFE to trim the errant limbs of the SPRUCE tree…🌲
🏚️The house for sure in dire need of getting straightened up, They had to SPRUCE it up and quick…def runneth o’er that cup… The tension growing stronger, a KNIFE would surely cut, The COUPLE at their wits’ end now…no more ifs ands or buts The mood so far from HAPPY, they’ve had it with the place… And time is of the essence…they need PICK UP THE PACE…🏚️
🤦🏻♀️If moving’s not stressful enough, You’re hoping that things won’t be tough… Good movers are key, But between you and me? There are those times when it can get rough…🤦🏻♀️
💲At the mercy of movers are we, We want service exchanged for our fee… We expect things are set, But sometimes they forget… That they’re not moving us in for free…💲
📦Watching box after box line the floor, Turn around and there’s boxes galore… Hopefully they’ll be placed, In the room where they’re based… And not all left just inside the door…📦
🤷🏻♀️Seems like Lauren thought ‘nuff time had passed, And that these guys aren’t very fast… So she voices concern, But the answer in turn? Is leaving her somewhat aghast…🤷🏻♀️

It’s taco-time here on Tuesday ! The anagrams were all there ! The jumble with movers having to work faster , meant they had to PICK UP , and that came to me right away , with PACE being the last word , it fell right into place ! Angela , the Billy Joel song was really nice ! He’s got a really nice voice ! And your description of Jeff’s Gems were really interesting ! Let’s head on to Wednesday and continue with these jumbles !!!

Fun Jumble today. Angela, it seems like every day that you point out some detail in the cartoon and I have to go back and find it. Maybe I need another new pair of glasses. Easy today and timely puzzle. My neighbors are moving and I’ll miss them a lot. But I won’t miss those loud Pod and Yellow Sack trucks that have been around much of the week. Love Billy Joel but that particular song reminds me of having to “run errands” on Saturday morning with my Dad as a young kid in the early ’80s. A morning wasted mostly in the car instead of playing and watching cartoons. :-/
