  1. Good Morning, Everyone…🔥PLEASED TO MEAT YOU🔥

🎶 GRILL me (GRILL me), GRILL me (GRILL me)…Walk me down the lane where shadows will be…🎶…”Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me” – (with apologies to) Mel Carter 1965 https://tinyurl.com/bde9u5fd

🔥 One used his MINNOW bait and caught a haul of salmon fish,
Planning to cook a ZESTY meal…a spicy, tasty dish…
Another who taught CONGA, planned on steaks seasoned just right,
While one who spent time SKIING?…His menu’s ribs tonight
The three of them were fired up…and made a great connection…
As they all grilled together here, in the park’s SMOKING SECTION…🔥

Ah…Warm weather…the perfect time for MEAT and greets…

So…Today…any park USA…And we MEAT three men, Jon HAMM, CHUCK STEAK, and Laurence FISHburne…At an ENCLOSED FENCED AREA = SECTION, dubbed, “GRILL = (SMOKE) Master Central”…the SMOKING SECTIONhttps://tinyurl.com/yc599p49 … And there’s no way anyone can SKEWER this one up…Why? BeSAUCE it’s so easy that not getting this solve? To be FRANK? You’re definitely GRILLty of making a huge miSTEAK!

Jeff’s💎Gems? Jon, at left, cooking ribs on his SMOKER, has the image of a PIG on his cap…while Chuck’s cap sports a crossed spatula and a grill fork…Oh, and yes, Laurence’s choice of tool? TONGS for reminding me…

So…There you have it, Folks…WELL DONE. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend who was in charge of cooking at his office picnic. He grilled a medium-rare steak for his boss, and the man said, “I like it well done!” To which my friend answered, “Thanks. That means a lot.”…It just seems that whenever the STEAKS are high, my friend just WINGS it…and somehow always manages to have things take a turn for the WURST…And needless to say he didn’t have a GRATE future with that company…🔥🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 📕 His latest book, the “SMOKING SECTION”, was about a ZESTY MINNOW who gave CONGA lessons at a SKIING lodge… 📕

🤷🏻‍♂️The group had a choice go SKIING or fish, the voting was now 4 to 3,
Then someone mentioned dancing…one could tell there was ennui…
“I’d love to learn to CONGA”, was voiced by one woman,
“I’ve a whole bag of MINNOW fish”, was heard then from a man…
The group, yes, pretty ZESTY…but now what would be perfection?
And it got worse when someone said…”I’ll need a SMOKING SECTION”!🤷🏻‍♂️

  4. 🔥Warm weather does bring out the best,
    Of cooking outdoors…and with zest,
    …The grillers all say,
    There’s no other way…
As they put cooking skills to the test…🔥

🌭🥩Aromas they waft through the air,
    As barbecues become the fare…
Be it hot dogs or steak,
    One cannot forsake…
The taste to which nothing compares…🥩🌭

💨 So today we are seeing three men,
All gathered within the park’s pen…
    Where grilling’s allowed,
You can see the smoke’s cloud…
As the season has started again…💨

👍🏻Who has fish, who has ribs, who has steak,
And they’re all more than thrilled to partake…
    In making a great meal,
    To these men…a big deal…
Until ashes are left in their wake…👍🏻

👏🏻👏🏻 Here’s to summer and all that it brings,
Hail the burgers and the sausage rings…
    And to grillers out there,
    And the aprons they wear…
“Glad to see you” we hungry Folks sing…👏🏻👏🏻

  5. Good morning. I was stumped on conga and had to look it up. Amazing how simple words can elude you. All 14 letters took a lot of time to finally get. Over and over again I went to the cartoon and eventually grasped the idea of the smoke coming from the grill which gave me the first word. The letters remaining gave me the last. Thank you Angela for that terrific song choice, really enjoyed it. Until tomorrow take care.

  6. Not a good Jumble morning, for sure. All anagrams solved, but thought COOKING was part of the solution…wrong. On a happy note, Angela gave us one of my favorite songs to play/sing…Hold me, Kiss me….Big thanks, Angela….Terry

    • I also thought conga was spelled Congo, then having sorted that out, thought the first cartoon word was cooking rather than smoking, so failed on the cartoon solution as well. All in all a failed Saturday Jumble day. I guess the overcast sky clouded my mind. Chuck.

    • yeah, I’ve found that they never use a word used in the cartoon that appears in the answer, so cooking had to be a red herring. Has anyone else noticed the same pattern or are there ever exceptions?

      • Correct…A word used in the question won’t appear as part of the solve…but cooking wasn’t mentioned in the question…just the dialogue…🔥🙋🏻‍♀️

        • “Is this where I can cook” was asked by the cartoon character though!

          • As part of the DIALOGUE though…NOT as part of the QUESTION, as I stated…There’s a difference…🔥🙋🏻‍♀️

            • yeah by “used in the carton” I meant dialogue too. I’ve never seen a word in either the question or dialogue be a part of the answer. Does anybody know of an exception?

  7. It’s Friday ! I too had trouble with CONGA ! I thought it was Congo also ! The rest were there ! The jumble was also a little tricky , but once I got SMOKING , SECTION was there ! So it was a good froday ! Thank goodness ! And I agree Angela , about your song , and your friend was so funny , I liked it , well done !!! Good day to end the work week , so let’s grill on !!!!

    • I guess I wasn’t the only one who thought conga was spelled as Congo! Chuck.

      • Congo is a “legit” word, Professer…but it being a country, it would never be used in a Jumble puzzle. Conga is a dance…🔥🙋🏻‍♀️

  8. This ole lady GOT words not the ans I went for cooking and quit have a nice day EL bye bye

    • Wishing you a nice day too, Miss Eleanor. Be well. 🔥🙋🏻‍♀️

  9. I also spent time on cooking, but it didn’t work. I then tried other ING words, and saw SMOKING, leaving SECTION. Overall, it took much longer than usual.

    • The completely fenced in area was a big hint towards SECTION, Dennis…it was a good LINK! 😉🔥🙋🏻‍♀️

      • After I solved it, I realized the meaning. However, before that I couldn’t come up with a word that fitted the letters.

        • But you didn’t throw in the towel…that’s what counts! 👍🏻🙋🏻‍♀️

  10. No problem with the anagrams or cartoon answer today. Saw the smoke form the grill and having a “k” arrived at Smoking without difficulty. Cool and overcast in the City today – definitely not barbecue weather. Happy Saturday all! Betty

  11. I didn’t know conga was a word and the final answer was terrible. Usually I get it right with 75% of the people. This was one of your worst puzzles. Although, I will continue to play because I love Jumble.

    • The word Conga is nothing new. It’s been used in numerous Jumble puzzles going back many years. And while you’re entitled to your opinion, of course, I beg to differ. I think both David and Jeff did a brilliant job with this puzzle. The many clues are obvious…one can hardly fault them if one fails to solve it…🔥🙋🏻‍♀️

  12. A lot of times I don’t even have to do the anagrams I just look at the cartoon and I can get the answer
