  1. Good Morning, Everyone…👮🏽‍♂️👩🏽‍⚕️WELCOME TO THE COBB WEB! 👩🏽‍⚕️👮🏽‍♂️

🎶 JUMP, JUMP for my love…Jump, I know my heart can MAKE YOU HAPPY…🎶 “Jump (For My Love)” – The Pointer Sisters 1984 https://tinyurl.com/n2h5zkn3

    👮🏽‍♂️👩🏽‍⚕️ It launched in 1989…not NINETY…but it’s close…
    (A character named Crunchy is a hoot…while not verbose)…
In March of ‘98 a VIOLIN came into play,
The story line about another child on the way…
There’s four now in the family, the FOYER’s full of toys,
The family’s name is Cobb…parents with 2 girls and 2 boys
Extended family? JUMBO…o’er the years how it has grown…
I’ve followed them from day 1…they tickle my FUNNY BONE! 👩🏽‍⚕️👮🏽‍♂️

Today we get a JUMP START https://tinyurl.com/298sw46x on the 11th Annual Guest Jumbler Week, and it’s just what the doctor ordered! Robb Armstrong’s https://tinyurl.com/bd5z2jz7 syndicated comic strip, set in Philadelphia, has been a favorite of mine since the very beginning. I’ve followed the two main characters, Joe and Marcy Cobb…he a police officer, and she a nurse, through the years, and have loved every story line. The cast of characters, though? A comedic COBB WEB! …You can’t imagine…I’ll give you an example…Joe has a close friend, Clarence, whose widowed Father, Clayton, married Marcy’s widowed Mother, Maureen. And Clarence has 11 brothers…Trust me, I still need a score card! And you can read all about them in the article I’ve linked…But I digress…Suffice to say it’s as HUMERUS a comic strip as they come..And speaking of humerus…

So…A hospital room, and a man with what might not be a broken humerus, https://tinyurl.com/23smh28t but a broken BONE in his arm just the same…And we see Marcy, after having told him a joke, laughing along with him…as he appreciates her…FUNNY BONE! https://tinyurl.com/2n9hx437 A great play on words!

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And here’s to Mr Armstrong 🍷and his fabulous comic strip…What a perfect way to JUMP START Guest Jumbler Week! 👮🏽‍♂️👩🏽‍⚕️🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🎻 The NINETY year old VIOLIN, placed on the JUMBO stand in the FOYER, fell to the floor when he bumped into it with his FUNNY BONE…🎻

🦴 The FOYER was done over, a JUMBO task for sure,
Took NINETY minutes just to get the old rug from the floor…
With VIOLIN sounds playing, a calmness set the tone…
Lighthearted humor prevailed then…jostling the FUNNY BONE! 🦴

  6. If to be in hospital you must
Then humour will help you adjust
    To try to stay calm
    Relieve every qualm
And make you laugh til you bust!
