  1. Good Morning, Everyone…I hope this finds you well…
🍰🥂DEARLY BELOVED WE ARE GATHERED HERE TODAY 🥂🍰

    🎶 “The Wedding Song”🎶… – Kenny G 1980 https://tinyurl.com/49htmxxn

🍾🍰I searched and searched the text and SKETCH, but nothing came up clutch,
I thought I might try DOCTOR…with the one who drinks too much,
But ENZYME, GRILLE and MATRIX? There’s no place where they’d fit,
That’s not to mention our last word…nix also for BANDIT…
No matter how I spin it, they’re just too horribly varied…
And none of them can gel to give us EAT, DRINK AND BE “MARRIED”! 🍰🥂

My first thought was that this was an Anniversary homage to Jeff and his lovely bride Kathy…but their Anniversary was in early September…so AISLE skip that thought…But I do think they’re the Bride and Groom featured here today…And I’m not going to ALTAR my choice..,

So…A Wedding Reception…the perfect place to meet, greet…”EAT, DRINK…and be merry”…And that’s just what we’re seeing, along with dialogue referring to food and drink …But…on our menu today we have quotation marks…And you know what that means, Folks…it always RINGS true that the word in question will be JOINED TOGETHER to the others with a pun…So today, we see Merry, from the age-old phrase mentioned above, CHANGE IT’S NAME to “MARRIED” …The reception was the perfect place for Jeff and Kathy to…EAT, DRINK AND BE “MARRIED”! https://tinyurl.com/ycxt8ct8 …Good one, David…SIP, SIP, Hooray!

As for Jeff’s Gems…(besides the lovely Kathy)…It’s cake we see being eaten, so the wedding must be DRAWING to a close. The women at right? Looks like a cookie of some sort…And that could be David at the back table where a little boy is seen underneath, playing with a truck and a Thomas The Tank Engine…And the drinker? There’s always a COUPLE…He’s ok, though…as long as he stays CHEERSful…But it’s the orchestra that gave me pause. The signage reads, “The Jeff BIRDY Orchestra” which I can’t aVOW to knowing…so it seems a bit aFOWL to me. But I think it’s a spoof on Jeff TWEEDY https://tinyurl.com/4fyvetrk and Wilco…who knows. You know I just report the news, I don’t make it…

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…and may we all eat, drink and be merry…🍰🥂🙋🏻‍♀️

  3. 🤦🏻‍♂️The buffoon of a BANDIT, whose poor choices so far had become the MATRIX of his disappointing life, peered through the GRILLE into the DOCTOR’s office after having overheard something about an ENZYME…and thought he’d drawn up the perfect SKETCH that would finally result in him being able to EAT, DRINK AND BE MERRY…🤦🏻‍♂️

🤞🏻His paper on metabolism…ENZYME the protein,
He mapped himself a MATRIX, and pulled it up on screen,
His thoughts to be a DOCTOR, and it helped him when he’d SKETCH,
His ideas like a GRILLE of sorts…through which errors he’d catch
His life now like a BANDIT, stealing moments…lest he bury…
Himself too deep…he longs for days of EAT, DRINK AND BE MERRY…🤞🏻

  4. Missed an easy one today….No blind solve, but solved anagrams easily. Then, took out MARRIED, but didn’t manage to come up with the rest of this very common idiom. Was looking at the puzzle, and for some reason, with the rest of the letters in front of me, couldn’t see what that first word was. Am disappointed, but moving on. Have a great Sunday. Terry

  5. It’s Sunday Funday ! Family gathering this weekend , not enough time to tackle this one , but I tried and just not enough time to study it ! Loved it though and it was a commonplace reception ! Everyone enjoy this beautiful sunny Sunday Funday !!!!!

  6. A successful Sunday Jumble despite the additional words and cartoon letters. I did pause on the spelling of doctor and grille, happy Sunday to one and all. Chuck.

  7. As this couple are doing the rounds
It certainly looks and it sounds
    That guests at the wedding
    Inhibitions are shedding
And their enthusiasm knows no bounds!

The drinks at the bar are just flowing
    Eyes and cheeks are a-glowing
Wil they drink til they drop
Will the bar have to stop
At this stage, there’s no way of knowing

But it seems everyone’s having such fun
It’s hard to know when they’re done
    These moments are fleeting
    Imbibing and eating
They’re there til the rising of the sun!

  8. MATRIX took some effort. The rest of the words went quickly. I had a blind solve for the answer. The ‘open bar’ comment in the cartoon helped me to the phrase.
    Dennis

  9. I struggled with matrix but other than that it was an easy solve. May you all have a merry day! Betty

  10. Another jumble that was just fun to solve, clever and entertaining!
    God’s Blessings on All!
