    These four friends, always in ACCORD… though all left high and dry…

    Golf. If you’re a tried and true Jumble aficionado, you know we’ve been here before. PUTT our solve? If this one GOES OVER your head…you’re definitely GREEN when it comes to tried and true idioms…

    So…Today, the Clubhouse. And we find our PEERless Foursome, Charles-Lee, Page, Ross-Harry and Sy’m…A group who have played together for years, and still haven’t managed to get it down to a TEE…PUTT they GREEN and bear it, since with them, they’ve put their EAGLES aside a long time ago, and they just really enjoy being aROUND one another…It’s all about the friendCHIP…And today, it’s all about the dialogue…It’s a STROKE of genius, IMO…Every statement our guys are PUTTering defines our solve to a TEE …”SAME score”, “CONSISTENT”, “ASSUMED…AGAIN”, and a “GIMME”…they’re all different ways of saying…PAR FOR THE COURSE… https://tinyurl.com/5n897y43 …Well PLAYED, Jeff…very well PLAYED!     …And in all “FAIR”ness, while there’s a good chance that our men may be actual people, (there’s a bit of a familiar HOOK, I mean look to them), I’m just not DRIVEn today to go through my COURSE material trying to ADDRESS them…So I’ve chosen to give them identiTEES of my own…And FORE what it’s worth, I’m going to see who’s on the BALL with my choices…And while the scorecard and tabletop menu are nothing more than SCRAMBLEd letters, the Jumble logo is visible on Page’s cap…with the Club standard crossed clubs and ball emblem SPORTed on the cap of Charles-Lee as well as the menu….

    So…There you have it, Folks….Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And remember what they say about a good golf game… The best person to play with is someone who’s always a little worse than you…Definitely all about the friendCHIPS…🏌🏻‍♂️🙋🏻‍♀️

  3. 👍🏻Everyone was AWARE and in ACCORD that It would be PAR FOR THE COURSE for them to vote by PROXY for the FAMOUS new charter…👍🏻

    🤷🏻‍♀️ While only one was FAMOUS, they all were in ACCORD,
    That PROXY voting was ok…for chairman of the board
    AWARE that one’d be favored, the other long shot horse…
    Was now the norm…it had become simply PAR FOR THE COURSE…🤷🏻‍♀️

    These four guys who just can’t get on track,
    At least they have some fun,
    Because of the four? None…
    Gets past what’s usually known as a hack…🤦🏻‍♂️

    Talk about what they never did sink…
    And it’s same old, same old,
    The stories that get told…
    As their beer cans they laughingly clink! 🍻

  5. It’s little hump-day Wednesday ! I got all the anagrams except one , I wasn’t so FAMOUS on ! But I had a birdie on the jumble , it was very easy , or should I say PAR FOR THE COURSE ! What a great way for a smooth mid week jumble ! The FAMOUS anagram still has me shaking my head ! But I loved it ! Everyone have a great no big hump-day Wednesday !!!!

  7. Even a blind squirrel could have…..Today was an easy blind solve with such a popular, well-known idiom to find. All anagrams solved successfully, so wrapped up today’s Jumble lickedy-split. I, too, convey your thoughts about playing golf with someone “just” a little bit worse. Thanks for a very interesting post, Angela. You went way under par for today…maybe even set a course record !!

  8. Good morning. Simple as simple could be. No lighting bolt struck me at looking for a blind solve but once the letters were down it was easy. Let me go out on the line and say that no one hooked on to the flounder and reeled it in. I’d be surprised if it made the charts. But then what do I know about music, I’m stuck in the 50s-60s. Until tomorrow take care.

  9. Being an avid golfer, I had a blind solve of the cartoon and the first 3 anagrams but was stumped on the 4th. Working backwards from my blind cartoon solution and seeing that I needed a c,o and an r ,from the 4th anagram , I was able to piece together the accord solution for that anagram.Happy Hump Day Wednesday to one and all!

  10. Angela, I agree with others that your puns and poems are top-notch today. I really like the foursome’s names connecting to Scarborough Fair lyrics – very clever! Also, thanks for introducing me to the Jake and the Flounders song parody of the Stephen Stills song…really funny rendition and reminds me of Weird Al’s work. Excellent material today, Angela!
