🍪Feeling totally INEPT as far as mastering the COOKIE recipe, and being late for her HAIRDO appointment, she figured she’d kill two birds with one stone…ask her hairdresser for his SLANT…and get HIS TAKE ON IT…🍪
🥯The COOKIE sheet had a large SLANT, and now she felt INEPT,
She wondered how it warped like that…was it how she had kept..
It stored away…it was quite old…like her once ‘fro HAIRDO,
And what an odd analogy she thought…out of the blue…
But needing to bake bagels…on this would they evenly sit?
She’ll call her local baker…asking for HIS TAKE ON IT…🥯
Definitely a hump to get over this Wednesday ! I could only get two anagrams ! And they were SLANT and COOKIE , but I was INEPT to get that one and I just got a haircut , but it didn’t like HAIRDO ! Now the jumble had me confused and I had to take my directors wood and yell “CUT” ! The one word that I first wrote down was TAKEN , but that just didn’t work , but close , but I couldn’t get it ! So I’m gonna prepare myself for tomorrow’s jumble and drink some tea on thirsty-Thursday and hope it will quench my thirst to solve the jumble ! Such a meaningful post, Angela….because there was SO, SO much going on today’s cartoon !! Anyway, nice write-up about a movie whose time has come. Next we’ll be looking for the Jumble Cruise. No blind solve today, and even after anagrams completed, had to ponder where to place that elusive “K”. First of all, took out ON IT and THE, but that didn’t get me anywhere….next, put back THE and made TAKE…and that was the key to my solution.
As a Benny Goodman fan, I always liked this movie (no Academy Award movie, for sure) and how they staged this song. Lotsa energy here. When I first saw your lyrics, Angela, I said….Hmm, don’t remember those !!! LOL.

It took awhile to finally come up with that word and then when it came time to the cartoon it finally hit me that the answer was from the directors point of view which made the answer jump out at me. Hairdo stumped me at first then too many letters for me to get the cartoon solution, not a good Wednesday Jumble day for me, despite the warm sunny weather!
Had to ponder the cartoon answer for a bit but finally got it. The K was the clue that finally led me to Take. Though Hairdo is a frequent anagram it always looks weird to me though I was blue to figure it out. Happy Wednesday all. It’s a beautiful sunny day here. Enjoy!!
