And how there’s such an INFLUX now of ideas that have peaked…
She’s always been quite FLUID, not scared to take a plunge,
So she decided to tackle that table looking grunge
Voila! A HIDDEN talent…now never to diminish…
Applied herself…it’s lacquer’s turn…and this table is FINISHED!💪🏻
I don’t know if it’s due to the pandemic’s quarantine or not, but lately there’s been such an influx of women tackling jobs that for too long were looked upon as being men’s work only. And I say…”Brava”! Let’s PAINT the town red!
Today we’ve entered the garage, or maybe the workshop of our girl, Madeira (which BTW, is Portuguese for carpenter). And Maddie, as you WOOD imagine she’s known by, is showing us that she definitely knows more than a WHITTLE thing or two about restoring furniture…She’s taken her old grungy coffee table, and turned it into a WORK of art. PLANE and simple. And besides the pride she’s feeling that she’s NAILED it, she and her husband are thrilled with how much money they’ve SHAVED by her DIY…Yep, no LACQUER good news here! And now that the table is done = FINISHED…the lacquer she’s applying will SEAL the deal. And for those of you who WOODn’t be familiar with WOODworking, lacquer is a liquid FINISH applied to wood…So Maddie here is applying the lacquer…because her table’s FINISHED! And we’ve GLOSSED over another one!
Details…Maddie’s a southpaw! 👏🏻👏🏻…but I’m surprised she’s not wearing a mask..You know that old SAW…Better safe than sorry…There’s newspaper on the floor…the lacquer can’s reading..SUP…Super? And SHI…Shine? Tools on the wall…A paint brush, flat and a Phillips head screwdrivers, a hammer and a coping saw. Under the bench…Two cans of paint and what looks to be a gallon-sized paint and varnish stripper. But going by the different lines on the table, I’m not all that sure about Maddie’s direction….Buy hey…different STROKES for different Folks, right?
So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of a furniture store that kept calling me for weeks…when all I wanted was one nightstand….💪🏻🙋🏻♀️

🙇🏻♂️Just as he was FINISHED writing the ESSAY, he noticed an INFLUX of FLUID creeping along the floor…and the cat doing its best to stay HIDDEN away from the broken vase…🙇🏻♂️
👏🏻👏🏻 She kept her feelings HIDDEN…through the INFLUX of her pride,
The ESSAY that the student wrote was moving…he had plied…
The lessons that were taught him…kept FLUID thoughts throughout,
And managed to state perfectly what he was all about
She laughed, she cried…at one point she found that she had to grimace…
The essay had it all for sure…and she’s sad that it’s FINISHED! 👏🏻👏🏻
💪🏻Maddie had grown tired of the old table,
But a new one? Finances not able…
So she rolled up her sleeves…
And knew she wouldn’t leave…
Until it was restored and quite stable! 💪🏻
👏🏻👏🏻Determined to see a job through,
Maddie set out without much ado…
And she kept at the work,
No detail did she shirk…
And when finished…a table brand new! 👏🏻👏🏻
🤷🏻♂️Maddie’s husband at first had some doubt,
But since knowing what she’s all about…
He just took it in stride,
And now look at the pride…
That he’s feeling due to his wife’s clout!🤷🏻♂️
🤷🏻♀️I’m surprised though there isn’t a mask,
When one’s doing this sort of a task…
Lacquer comes with its fumes,
It can fill up a room…
And unhealthy within it to bask…🤷🏻♀️
👍🏻Now she’s finished, and feeling the pride,
No more reason the table to hide…
It’s now shiny and bright,
Maddie did the job right…
And euphoria’s not soon to subside! 👍🏻

Last week it was Thursday’s puzzle that caused the most static, and generated the most views to our site. HIGH DEFINITION proved to be a stumper…And we ended the day a little shy of 58K views. 🙋🏻♀️
Here we go ! A great start to the week ! It gives me plenty of FLUID to get each day of the week ! I should write an ESSAY , but I wont ! What an INFLUX of anagrams and not one was HIDDEN from me ! I ‘finished’ the puzzle w a quick blind solve on an easy Monday puzzle. Essay had me confused with assay but the finished solution led me to essay for a good start to the week.Today would have been my Mother’s 109th birthday, may she have a Happy Heavenly Birthday.
