Morning, Everyone… ⛴ UP FOR SAIL⛴
🎶 Down on the HOUSEBOAT, remember all the fun…Down on the HOUSEBOAT our moment in the sun…🎶 “Down on the Houseboat” – Merle Haggard 2011 https://tinyurl.com/bdfzhyff
⛴ ELEVEN boats they looked at, some FONDLY and some not,
They thought they hit the jackpot, and this would be their “yacht”…
Emotions all a’WHIRL at first, but alas not to be,
A higher bid was offered…so they’re still not out to sea…
(And AORTA won’t sail today…it’s being left on shore,
It doesn’t meld at all with this…I tried…it was a chore)
So wrapping up, they’re still adrift…but feeling that to wit…
They won’t give up, there still is hope…so they won’t DWELL ON IT…⛴
I’m really, really pressed for time, so I’m not going to DWELL on this puzzle. It’s an easy, breezy one…and a great play on both definitions of the word DWELL – https://tinyurl.com/4s9xfytm
We see our couple, missing out on the opportunity to purchase a boathouse…Telling us that they won’t DWELL (reside) ON IT…And at the same time, they know there’ll be others for sale, so they’re not going to DWELL (worry or obsess) ON IT…Dialogue, dialogue, dialogue…He gave us the first definition…she the second…So the solve? They weren’t going to …DWELL ON IT… https://tinyurl.com/yc7v3xau …And this ship has SAILED!
And if you look FERRY, FERRY closely…out on the water, right at the tip of the woman’s hair? Jeff’s Signature Sinking Sailboat…
So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And today’s puzzle is a good example of not allowing things to get to us…ANCHOR management at its best…⛴🙋🏻♀️

🤷🏻♀️It seemed the surprise quiz on the AORTA wasn’t taken too FONDLY, but the teacher decided not to DWELL ON IT at this time, and hoped the ELEVEN students who didn’t do well would give it a WHIRL the second time around…🤷🏻♀️
👍🏻The kid was always punning…he’d give anything a WHIRL,
He looked at puns quite FONDLY…and they’d easily unfurl…
In Science class AORTA what they studied on that day,
And right around ELEVEN the boy was heard to say
“I’m not big on these body parts, but ever sharp my wit…
Aorta make a joke right now…but I won’t DWELL ON IT”! 👍🏻
🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♂️Thought they found the boathouse of their dreams,
Loved the decor and the wooden beams…
But now they’re being told,
That it’s already sold…
So right now disappointment it seems…🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♀️
⛴ They were looking to live on the sea,
Spend alone time…only he and she..
Though so far no such luck,
They refuse to feel stuck…
‘Cause they know that what will be, will be!⛴
🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♂️It’s a good thing our couple has learned,
That in life there are times we’ll be spurned…
And it don’t pay to gripe,
Because despite the hype…
Most times we’ll get just what we deserved! 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♀️
👍🏻But our couple’s not two to get down,
They’re determined to still look around…
There’ll be others they know,
So they’ll just hold the dough…
Until the perfect boat can be found…👍🏻
🫰🏻So…for now it’s just back to the search,
Fingers crossed they’re not left in the lurch…
They feel things will work out,
They’re not bogged down by doubt…
And believe on board they soon will perch!🫰🏻
We’ll I put a cap on this weeks jumbles with a successful solve on today’s ! The anagrams were all there for me ! The jumble was very descriptive being that they couldn’t live in the boathouse , or DWELL ON IT ! Nice one to end this week of tougher than usual jumbles ! Angela , the song was spot on ! Merle Haggard is great ! What a nice way to end the week ! Everyone have a great day !!!!
‘Tks, Jim ⛴🙋🏻♀️
Like others, an easy end of the week Jumble. It was a blind solve followed by easily unscrambled anagrams. ‘Nuff said….see ya tomorrow.
Good morning. At first glance I thought I would have trouble but I took a minute to really look at the words and everything came to me fairly easy. I couldn’t come up with the blind solve but once I put the letters down that too was easy. I was thinking the last two words were IT and UP. That ended that when I saw the letters. Loved Merle Haggard Angela, another first on hearing that song. Until tomorrow stay well and be safe.
A boathouse is a structure used to house a boat. A houseboat is a boat designed to live on.
A lot of vowels in aorta but got it along w the other anagrams and a blind solve of the cartoon, all minus a real paper newspaper!Good for me.
Nice and easy solve this morning. Happy Saturday all!
Even though spring is a week and a half away, don’t forget to spring ahead early tomorrow morning!!
They weren’t going to dwell ON it; more likely they might have dwelled IN it.
