    🖥 They bought a brand new monitor, it’s SHINY and it’s huge,
    The words so clear in INDIGO…no chance of subterfuge…
    They’d soon FORGET what it was like with monitors before,
    4K’s changed things forever…they could ask for nothing more…
    (Where WITCH would fit into this theme?…It doesn’t…not today,
    It gets a pass…unlike our guy…who now can’t wait to play…)
    His favorite word game…he’s now psyched…a man who’s on a mission…
    To see things so much clearer now…all in HIGH DEFINITION! 🖥

    You gotta love how this one all comes together…I SAW the solve at a glance…but if I hadn’t…the DEFINITION? Indeed! DEFINE..tely at a HIGHer level! It’s all so CLEAR…if you just SCREEN the plethora of hints being given….

It’s like a road map! GPS at its finest! …Add all this to our dialogue…”Scrabble WORD challenges” = DEFINITIONS and “don’t need my reading glasses”…(which are seen being held in her hand) = things are SHARP, CLEAR = HIGHLY DEFINED …(again see #8)…So in a nutSPELL?   4. 🧙🏻‍♂️ Watching a movie about a WITCH on their HIGH DEFINITION TV, placed upon their SHINY, INDIGO-colored stand, made them FORGET their problems for a while…🧙🏻‍♂️

    🤷🏻‍♂️The choices were a Zombie, a Werewolf or a WITCH,
    No matter what he’d choose it all came down to being kitsch…
    The costume somewhat SHINY, made it hard to FORGET,
    That he looked bad in INDIGO…which led to more regret
    He couldn’t help but wonder if it would come to fruition…
    This crazy idea they had to come dressed HIGH DEFINITION!🤷🏻‍♂️

    And for them words are their bailiwick…
    They went in for 4K,
    And it sure made their day…
    The new monitor def did the trick! 🖥

    👏🏻👏🏻 With 4K resolution’s not lost,
    Though there may be a little more cost…
    But the vision’s so clear,
    That the cost being dear?
    Not an issue…and doubt was just tossed! 👏🏻👏🏻

    🔠 He plays Scrabble…but often gets stopped,
    Seems some words of his may take a flop…
    But this monitor here,
    Gonna save wear and tear…
    When he tries to play words like Aesop…🔠

    🔍 With the clarity they’ve newly found,
    It’s a guarantee joy will abound…
    Things are bigger and bright,
    No more eyes squinting tight…
    Yes, the purchase was definitely sound! 🔍

    🖥 So this monitor like a new toy,
    Has brought our couple absolute joy…
    Things will definitely improve,
    And they’re now in the groove…
    Standing high amongst the hoi polloi! 🖥

  6. This week has not been easy for me ! Todays was no different ! I was blessed that my birthday on Monday was the best ! But Tuesday , Wednesday , and todays were not there for me ! The anagrams were good except a color that I didn’t get on Saturday too ! I should’ve remembered that ! Yes , on Saturday I didn’t get INDIGO either ! Wow , what is wrong with my memory ! Anyway , I hope I can end the week with some good solves and fun jumbles ! Everyone have a great thirsty-Thursday !!!!

  7. As is very typical of long words in the Jumble cartoon, I sort of give up at the start if no immediate word pops into my brain. Such was the case this morning and went straight for the anagrams. But on a bright note, anagrams speedily unscrambled and found the answer soon enough. Then the moment comes over me when I tell myself…”Gosh, should have come up with that word”….oh well, two ways to skin a cat. Successful morning…just no blind solve. Thirsty Thursday moves onward !!

  8. Good morning. I got the words, lickety split but had no clue on the cartoon answer. Pressed for time I took the high road. Until tomorrow stay well and be safe.

  9. The words were easy. Yesterday we had a word not used in over 60 years, and today a word not used in five days!

    The answer took a while. I first tried an ‘ing’ ending, but got nowhere. I then found HIGH, but all the I’s was puzzling. I then tried TION for the end of the second word, which led to DEFINITION! At that point I slapped my forehead and said duh.

  10. After a pause on indigo,I was good to go on the cartoon but as usual too many letters for me to solve it, though given the clues, the answer should have been obvious.

  11. Anagrams were solved easily, paused at the cartoon solution a bit because I too looked for an “ing” ending. Regrouped and saw “high” and then found “definition”. As always the clues were in the dialogue. We’re headed for another “atmospheric river” here in the Bay Area. We’re getting four years worth of winter in one – feast or famine. Have a good day all!

        • YW, and thank you. I’ve been trying to avoid the news the best I can…there’s so little that’s good. It just takes a toll after a while. But I have been paying attention to what’s going on by you…it’s so odd, and you know you’re always in my thoughts and prayers. Please stay safe…but as far as the hunkering down goes? All well and good…but you didn’t mention bringing the chocolate! 🍫 Let’s not go crazy now…you’re going to make me really start worrying about you! 😘🙋🏻‍♀️
