The Square is in no HURRY, he’d be UNWISE to let,

That his point might be questioned…but he’s confident “FOUR” SURE…⏹
It’s always popular when David and Jeff SHAPE their puzzle characters up to be numbers, or letters, or geometric examples…And today, we SQUARE off with the SQUARE…
Two males, an Octagon and a Square, two females, a Triangle and an Oval. And they’ve gathered aROUND in conversation, the POINT of conFIGUREation being whether or KNOT the Square is on the Square. Finding himself CORNERed, he stands up to the Octagon, who’s being kind of OBTUSE if you ask me, telling him…”You’ll never make your POINT with this LINE of questioning, Buddy…You EIGHT right in doubting me…So I suggest you try another ANGLE…’cause this one just doesn’t ADD UP”…and all said without going off on a TANGENT…Our Square is definitely positive…to the nth DEGREE, that each of his corners is 90 DEGREES…”FOUR” SURE… https://tinyurl.com/yc4pxk47 …And you can MEASURE the stock of his character by the way he POINTS it out! They’d been in such a HURRY…and now trouble seemed to sprout…
It went to prove haste does make waste, UNWISE they’d been before…
To put things off…and now they’re faced with major work FOR SURE! 🤦🏻♂️
➕Math was hardly ever my strong suit,
Far as I cared it all was just moot…
But I tried every term,
For the basics to learn…
Yet I hardly could give it a hoot…➖
📐Came to geometrics…I was blank,
Day by day passed and my grades just sank…
Lived my life built on words,
So this Math? Très absurd!
It was akin to walkin’ the plank! 📐
🔠 Yet to others it came easily,
Like this puzzle…the shapes brought on glee…
Be it Round, Straight or Square,
The students would adhere…
Finding it simple as ABC…🔠
⏹ Today’s puzzle has Square center stage,
And he’s dealing with Octagon’s craze…
Man thinks he has a point…
Square says…”You’re out of joint!
And we’ve no further need to engage”…⏹
🔼 Bottom line, they should all get along,
Octagon needs to see that he’s wrong…
And the ladies today? No way lend to the fray…

Welcome Wednesday hump-day ! And I did get over the hump ! Now the anagrams were messing with me ! I think I was in too much of a HURRY ! I was even good at making a FACADE ! But I should’ve relaxed and listened to some music and turned the AUDIO up , but that was UNWISE because those two I had to look up ! But the jumble was right up my alley ! I always did well with angles and geometrical ! And a square has four , 90 degree angles that are right angles FOUR SURE ! Everyone have a great Wednesday hump-day !!!!!!
It was a good Jumble Hump Day for me. As I looked at Jumble cartoon, I’ll admit taking a quick peek at the anagrams. And what emerged made FOUR SURE a possible answer. Anagrams were easily solved, so it doesn’t get any better than that. Now will listen to Angela’s song. See you on Thirsty Thursday !!

No problem w the anagrams and only thinking sure was the first 4 letter word,rather than the second , made me pause on the cartoon,but seeing the quotes, led me to put sure in the second word, leading to the ultimate four sure solution!

The Jumble with numbers are my very favorite puzzles but the shape are right up there as well – “full-figured” – too funny. Happy Wednesday all!
Fun puzzle today! Like others, I also enjoy cartoon puzzles with talking inanimate objects, including today’s male and female talking shapes. Reminds me of the expression, ”If you’ve got the curves, I’ve got the angles.”
