  1. Good Morning, Everyone….🚀WATER YOU KNOW! 🚀

🎶 I fell for you and I knew the vision of your love, loveliness…I hope and pray that someday I’ll be the vision of your happiness,…🎶 “Earth Angel” – The Penguins 1954 https://tinyurl.com/3n6xr347

🚀A puzzle about Space Travel…the FACET number huge,
    A word is coming into mind…I think it’s centrifuge…
In Space and it’s ARENA, there’s so much to be learned…
(But HEYDAY and ABACUS? Today they have both been burned)…
A clever play on words with this…David’s wit surely birthed…
A double entendre given us with his solve BE UNEARTHED!🚀

I’m not big on SPACE, so I won’t take up much here…But I will give you some interesting reading material https://tinyurl.com/2fd4z8ae if it’s at all part of your ORBIT…The first article…Life on Mars…below it…”Definitive” Liquid Water on Mars…

Setting: Mars…Three astronauts…their vessel and a Space Station in the background…Plot: Mars, which is clearly “UN” EARTH…Chipping away…Digging (i.e.) UNEARTH… https://tinyurl.com/s58s2dej through its surface, looking to hit on ice…to find water. Solve: No MOONing over this one, Folks…One day? It’ll …BE UNEARTHED

One thing though that made me pause…The astronaut with his/her arm raised? …Has a woman’s lips, a woman’s nose…but no eyelashes…What on EARTH is going on here?

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And try doing something special today…but PLANET wisely…so that you’re not stuck with everything being UP IN THE AIR..🚀🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🧮 In his HEYDAY, the Professor would hold debates in the ARENA, the subject often being the ABACUS …whether or not there was more to BE UNEARTHED, etc…and one side was always adamant that every FACET had been unfolded…🧮

🧮 They sat in the ARENA, during “Antique Show and Tell”,
The people brought the things from their HEYDAY…looking to sell…
A FACET here and there seemed odd, and some people did fuss,
But he sat confident he’d score with his old ABACUS…
They all had high hopes for their wares…though some seemed disconcerted…
And wondered if a rare antique would today BE UNEARTHED! 🧮

  3. It’s thirsty-Thursday and I’m definitely thirsty ! I’m not thirsty for a beverage , but thirsty for a jumble solution ! When I did the anagrams they were all there for me ! But when I saw the cartoon and the letters I just couldn’t get UNEARTHED in my thinking ! They were on Mars planet and not the earth , I don’t know , it just didn’t click at all ! So I’ll have a cup of sweet tea to quench my thirst on this Thursday and get very disciplined toward tomorrows and the rest of the weeks jumbles ! Everyone have a great thirsty-Thursday !!!!!!!!!!

  4. My contribution to a blind solve was the word “BE”….that’s about it for unearthing a very cryptic puzzle solution. After anagrams speedily solved, I set about looking at various solutions and looked at UNDER, NEATH and such. Finally picked out the word EARTH and that did it. After reading Angela’s post, went back to examine that spaceman…honestly, couldn’t tell much difference between them. Good eyes, Angela. Remember the song well !!! Good pick. Catch you on TGIF

  5. Good morning. I wasn’t going to stumped by abacus this time. The words were easy and once all the letters were down and having a blind solve on BE, it took some time but I did unearth unearthed for a win. Once I saw your song choice Angela I had to listen right away. One of the many good ones in the 50s. Thanks. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

  6. So there’s water below then thar rocks
Well that will give everyone shocks
If the folks come from far
That will sure rise our star
And put us ahead in the stocks!

  7. Stumped again by too many letters to solve the cartoon, as usual for me, but seeing the vote results I’m in good company. Any helpful suggestions for me,Angela? To help me in the future or should I just throw in the towel?

    • A tactic I use, when a blind solve won’t materialize after pondering the puzzle, is to write down all the anagram solution letters in a row and then (carefully) keep shuffling the order until something emerges from the alphabet soup 😉

  8. The words were easy. For the answer, I saw ‘under’, but that didn’t work. I next saw ‘neath’, but that didn’t work. I then saw EARTH, and solved it. Nice puzzle.

  9. Good solves today, but heyday left me in the dumps. Got the unearthed part. Agree that unmar-ed can open up a whole new Mars vocabulary. Don’t get me started. 😉
