  1. Good Morning, Everyone…👩🏻‍🍳 ADVICE TO THE GINGERBREAD MAN: DON’T BITE THE HAND THAT KNEADS YOU… 👩🏻‍🍳*

🎶 Spun sugary cloud I’m floatin’ on…Sun’s spreadin’ my suit of sugar coatin’ on…All tasty and tan, sweet GINGERBREAD MAN…Fresh out of the pan, sweet GINGERBREAD MAN…🎶 “Sweet Gingerbread Man” – Sammy Davis, Jr 1972 https://tinyurl.com/2kbp7cv7

👩🏻‍🍳They’re gonna PLANT a handshake, but they do need to go slow,
Not do it all too BUSILY…since they’re only made of dough…
No GARLIC is used here to bake, today’s the day for sweets,
    Tomorrow they’ll bake chicken…or perhaps they’ll go with GEESE…
But as far as our cookies go, to avoid injury…
They need proceed with caution and shake hands quite GINGERLY!👩🏻‍🍳

So…BAKE Gyllenhaal and BREAD Astaire. Meeting for the first time, even DOUGH they had been enROLLED in the same class…

Today we find ourselves in the kitchen of two young bakers, and two GINGERBREAD MEN https://tinyurl.com/5324tnpy …one seemingly feeling his OATS…With BAKE a little leery of shaking hands, BREAD grindingly ignores his hesitation, and makes a joke about crumbs. A little insensitive, IMO…Who knows, maybe he’s been drinking? …Maybe he’s 3 COOKIE SHEETS to the wind? …I guess it BAKES all kinds…But of course it’s not crumbs BAKE’s concerned with…that’s the YEAST of it…he just doesn’t want to go out on a limb…I mean be out of a limb! ‘Cause we know how that goes…A hand here, a leg there…and before we know it?…SNAP…the poor guy’s in KNEAD of a TURNOVER…I mean a makeover…And that would be pretty GRIMM…But while the two young bakers discuss whether or not there might have been SAUCERy involved…we come to our solve…Big hint #1? Notice how David used the phrase “Fairy Tale Cookie Men” instead of the name that they’re more familiarly known as? …Big hint #2? BAKE saying, “be CAREFUL”…And of course, big hint #3? We’re looking right at it…The GINGERbread Men! …MIX them all together? When they shook hands, it was done GINGERLY! https://tinyurl.com/4me7ppbn …And we’ve GLAZED right over another one!

So…There you have it Folks, Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…and be CAREFUL who you trust in life…it’s easy to be outFOXED! …

A Gingerbread man goes to the doctor….Gingerbread Man: “Doc, I broke my leg”! Doctor: “Have you tried icing it”? 👩🏻‍🍳🙋🏻‍♀️

  3. 🦆 BUSILY tending to her GARLIC PLANT, as she GINGERLY touched the leaves, she was momentarily startled by a flock of GEESE suddenly flying overhead…🦆

🤷🏻‍♀️The menu called for GEESE that night, and BUSILY she toiled,
Picked GARLIC from their finest PLANT…and chose the finest oil…
The chef he picked on her though…this sous chef Kimberly…
But she needed the job badly… so answered GINGERLY…🤷🏻‍♀️

  4. 🤷🏻‍♀️Gingerbread Men are our theme today,
And the Jumble just gave them full sway…
To come off from the sheet,
    But can anyone eat…
Cookies that we see acting this way? 🤷🏻‍♀️

👩🏻‍🍳Baking cookies, hoping for the best,
And our young girls are put to the test…
But the first two they see,
    I think we can agree…
May be different from all of the rest! 👩🏻‍🍳

🤲🏻 They’re just meeting and look to shake hands,
But Bake’s thinking it might change his plans…
    He’s the careful one here,
    ‘Fraid when others come near…
Hence he coils a bit where he stands!🤲🏻

👩🏻‍🍳 The two young girls are feeling confused,
Wondering what’s in the products they used…
How’d these guys come to life?
    Their thoughts definitely are rife…
But they do seem to be quite amused! 👩🏻‍🍳

🤷🏻‍♀️So will Bake and Bread get to be friends?
Or will this be where it will all end?
    Are they fit to consume?
    Should our girls just assume…
Something odd just got into their blend? 🤷🏻‍♀️

  5. All right Wednesday hump-day ! But it was really Wednesday no-hump day ! The anagrams were all there , not BUSILY at all ! But I noticed the GEESE outside by the PLANT ! So I got back to my lunch and sprinkled a little GARLIC on it ! The jumble was a little tricky , but suzie said she got and try to figure it out and I did ! So I got GINGERLY a and it gave me a sweet tooth and I had to find a gingerbread cookie ! Everyone have a no hump-day Wednesday !!!!

  6. Please handle us with care
We don’t have crumbs to spare
    We’re a delightful confection
    Baked to perfection
With a flavour so sweet and so rare!

  7. What a wonderful Hump Day morning….another blind solve and easily unscrambled anagrams, all coupled with Angela’s prolific musings about G-bread. Must share a quick note about this tuneful song penned by Michel LeGrand. Saw him in concert in Miami in 1973 (I was in Air Force). Concert started when one guitarist enters stage and plunks out a few bars of Sweet Gingerbread Man…then another band member follows…and so on. And that full orchestration of the song was mesmerizing. Been one of my favorites ever since. Nice choice, Angela

  8. Wrote in the anagrams and blind solve in 51 seconds – first time under a minute!
    Happy February!

  9. Good evening. Just got in from a long day. No problem with the words and even had a blind solve. Loved your song choice Angela. Another first on hearing it. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.
