    🥊So Folks from nine to NINETY all did MARVEL at this flick,
    It became a success story…and it happened very quick…
    The MAYHEM of the boxing took viewers quite by storm,
    One just wouldn’t have thought so…since it wasn’t all the norm…
    A tale of human PSYCHE…proved UNWISE those who had doubt,
    There was no need to HARBOR thoughts of it not having clout…
    And from what we’re seeing today, seems Sly might have had hunches…
    That errors wouldn’t stop him..he’d laugh and “ROLE” WITH THE PUNCHES! 🥊

    Although, like everyone else, I thoroughly enjoyed “Rocky”, I never have given much thought to what went on behind the scenes.   3. 🤷🏻‍♂️With the subject being the human PSYCHE, a NINETY minute class proved UNWISE, since it was hardly long enough to crack the surface…and the majority of the class did MARVEL at all that was being said…but a few were found to HARBOR resentment about not being heard, and a bit of MAYHEM ensued…prompting the Professor to tell them to learn to ROLL WITH THE PUNCHES…🤷🏻‍♂️

    ⛴ With NINETY ships at HARBOR, it truly was UNWISE,
    To only have a staff of six…so problems did arise…
    The Harbormaster’s PSYCHE today was way off track,
    And clients def did MARVEL at how much manpower lacked
    It looked like MAYHEM was on tap…talk about real time crunches…
    The situation made it hard to just ROLL WITH THE PUNCHES! ⛴

  5. Went 0-2 this weekend. All anagrams were solved speedily, but couldn’t figure out the cartoon puzzle. Thought last word might be PICTURE, but that was wrong. I guess I’ll have to wait until Monday morning to (maybe) regain my Jumble Confidence. Thanks for pointing out the Rocky trivia….will read a little later in the morning. Have a great Sunday !!

  6. Hi Everyone – Tough Sunday for me, both Psyche and the answer. I was convinced, like Terry, that Picture would be the seven-letter word. When I couldn’t get any further, I decided to try Punches. With seemed to fit, leaving the word in quotes to unscramble.

  7. After a pause on psyche I moved on to the cartoon. But too many letters and too many words for me to come up w a cartoon solution. Clearly a “Rocky” start on a cold but sunny Sunday morning.

  8. Had to get out paper and pencil this morning to figure out this one. First saw punches and then with so that left “role”. Clever. Have a good Sunday all!

  9. Good morning ! Not much punch in my patience for the jumble today ! The comment of Chucks was pretty much mine and also Terrys ! But I read the notes on the making of Rocky and it rang the bell for a knockout jumble ! I was very impressed with all the notes about the movie and Sly’s script writing and acting ability , Angela it was very informative ! Looking forward for tomorrow to start a new jumble week with the best jumble family of the rings !!!! Everyone have a great Sunday !!!!

  10. The messed up, didn’t they? I get the jumble in the SF Chronicle, and three of the correct letters in the clues weren’t circled. The clues said the answer was 12 letters long, but the answer was really 15 letters long. I thing they gave away a freebie (“the”). Did this happen or have I finally gone bananas?

    • Emily…I tried to look at the puzzle in your paper, but it won’t give me access. Today’s solve does call for 15 circled letters, plus the word “THE” which is provided, bringing the true total letters to 18. Here’s a copy of the puzzle from my paper. https://tinyurl.com/ycks5puy
