  1. Good Morning, Everyone…I hope this finds you well…
🐨 A TRIP TO AUSTRALIA IS ALWAYS EMU-SING!🐨

🎶 Buying bread from a man in Brussels..He was six-foot-four and full of muscle…I said, “Do you speak-a my language”? …He just smiled and gave me a VEGEMITE sandwich..And he said…”I come from a land DOWN UNDER”…🎶 “Land Down Under” – Men At Work 1981 https://tinyurl.com/5uuuys9

🐨 No need to MODIFY their time, no schedule to keep,
A VENUE here, a restaurant…no set time when to sleep…
Claire’s feeling cool in RAYON, Jeff’s shunned his graphic tee,
No looking through a WINDOW…at breathtaking scenery
And though it sounds a little odd, the play on words today…
Takes “Down Under”….and “Under way”….Voila! DOWN UNDER WAY! 🐨

Down Under = https://tinyurl.com/mryw5u3f Australia. Under Way = https://idioms.thefreedictionary.com/underway in progress. Put them together? IDK…Maybe it’s just me, but it doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue, does it? Don’t get me wrong…I get the wordplay, I got the solve at a glance…and AUSSIE what David did there…But?…Again, maybe it’s just me… Bottom line? Their vacation in Australia was…DOWN UNDER WAY…

And today it’s the Knurek Family center stage, vacationing DOWN UNDER in Sydney, https://tinyurl.com/3722rahv Australia… https://tinyurl.com/bd3m64kt …Not too sure though if it’s a CURRANT trip or not. Crossing the Sydney Harbour Bridge, we see Jeff and the lovely Kathy up front, with their children, Sydney and Cam OUTBACK…I mean at back…And while Syd snaps a pic of the Sydney Opera House, https://tinyurl.com/bdf26pzx while basking in the glory of her name being the “roots of Kathy’s labor” so to speak, Cam’s singing a totally different tune. He just wants some Vegemite!… https://tinyurl.com/4au573hb …Vegemite!… Blimey!! ..Let’s hope he doesn’t ROO the day!

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And I wonder if the Knureks attended any animal press conferences while they were there. Word is they’re interesting…all about gender e’KOALA’ty…🐨 🙋🏻‍♀️

    I STAND WITH UKRAINE 💔🇺🇦

  2. 🪟 Looking DOWN, UNDER WAY she saw a flurry of construction going on at the VENUE, but already running behind schedule with the RAYON material for the WINDOW treatments, she was forced to MODIFY her curiosity and get back to work…🪟

🔠 The Spelling Bee grew more intense, the VENUE all abuzz,
With MODIFY and RAYON aced, he worried now because…
He sees darkness through the WINDOW…they’re running very late,
And he’s feeling the pressure…so concerned about his fate…
He’s hoping things run smoothly, and they’ll finish this today…
    He’s tired of the spelling…feeling now DOWN…UNDER WAY…🔠

  3. Good morning Friday , end of the week days ! Boy I had a little bit of trouble with two of the anagrams that I had to look up ! RAYON and MODIFY ! I got the other two ! The jumble came right to me with Australia and the first thing that came to me was DOWNUNDER ! The WAY was thereto complete it ! Excellent end of the week days and heading on into Saturday ! Tha song that came right to me was your choice also Angela ! Men at work ! I was singing it the whole time I was writing down my comment ! Everyone have a fun Friday !!!!!!!

  4. If your travels take you down under
    You’ll soon begin to wonder
    Do people walk upside down
    Head close to the ground?
Don’t try it – it might be a blunder!

  5. First of all, I’ll agree with Angela that DOWN UNDER WAY doesn’t just slip off the tongue, as do normal, everyday Jumble Answers. But then…. Yes, it was a mini-fought blind solve. It just had to have DOWN and maybe UNDER in the solution. Needed three letter word to finish ??? WAY??? Guess so !!

Had no trouble with anagrams though I paused a little bit on all of them except WINDOW.

Is this the MEN AT WORK movie with Charlie Sheen and Emilio Esteves ?? 1981, huh?? If so, really cute movie, though don’t remember the sound track.

Just love that Opera House…pretty nifty city to visit. Happy TGIF and will see you tomorrow, mate.

    • Men At Work is the name of the band, Terry, it’s not a song title. As far as I know there’s no connection between them and the movie that came out years later. 🙋🏻‍♀️

  6. Good morning. Todays jumble was like most Mondays, very little trouble. The cartoon answer wasn’t a blind solve but while arranging the letters the lightning bolt hit me and I had the answer. Angela if you remember the Dick Clark show every once in awhile they would play a few songs never heard before for some kids for maybe 15 seconds and they would vote whether it would be a hit or not. I seem to do that a lot with your picks and on this one I ended it on my own I’m sorry to say. Meaning I’m glad it stayed Down Under. But I do look forward to all your side gems. I looked up vegemite before I started and I see you gave it to us. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

    • Good Morning, Paul. LOL! I never cared for the song either…but it fit, so…? And did you really think I’d let Vegemite slide? Have a good one. Be well and stay safe out there…🐨🙋🏻‍♀️

  7. Easy one today, and a blind solve. I also agree the answer was an awkward phrase.

I was in Sydney a month ago. Nice Opera house! Had fun! But ‘standing’ on my head for days…

  8. EMU-SING very clever Miss Angela. Easy solve this morning. Have never been to Australia but that Sydney Opera House is amazingly beautiful. Have a good day Jumble Mates!
