    🎥 It opened Christmas SEASON, PRIOR to the New Year,
    And word of mouth…a whirlwind, with hints dropped here and there…
    From every walk of life was heard how scary this film was,
    An ENSIGN or a teenager…the fear was all abuzz
    Some needed a SHOVE to get there…the talk left an impression…
    Of what they were about to see…a girl and HER POSSESSION…🎥

    The story of a young girl POSSESSED by a demon, “The Exorcist” https://tinyurl.com/2p8xhb2e brought us into the home of Regan MacNeil and her mother, Chris. And Linda’s reservation here to the young girl is definitely warranted. Scary is putting it mildly…The movie was said to have caused vomiting, fainting, heart attacks, and even a miscarriage. It definitely pushed the envelope. But in Linda’s case, she OWNed it…and it made her a star…So it stands to reason that she’d still have a copy, in…HER POSSESSION.

    Today, Linda’s an activist for animal rights, having founded the “Linda Blair Worldheart Foundation”, and is seen here wearing a T-shirt bearing its logo. https://tinyurl.com/49fcjp9n So of course she’d be surrounded by dogs, since the Foundation is dedicated to rehabilitating and placing adoptions for rescued animals.

  4. I have to get me a pop to quench my thirst on this thirsty-Thursday ! I had trouble with two anagrams ! ENSIGN and this one was out of SEASON ! Got the other two ! The jumble was just one of those that was there but I didn’t push my brain enough to get it ! I’ve watched the Exorcist , but it didn’t click HER POSSESSION ! I feel a little guilty that I didn’t try hard enough to get that ! Anyway , everyone have a great thirsty-Thursday !!!!!!!!!

  5. Well, Angela…on the other hand (as per message to Jim), it seems like I could look at some of these puzzles over and over, and no blind solve comes my way. So with me, it’s not a matter of time. Like today, I thought (wrongly) maybe the dogs had some part of it. Anyway, didn’t feel the brain power delivering a cartoon answer, so dug into the anagrams. Got all four pretty quickly, which made an easy solve. Also, before the movie came out, I was reading the book…and that was pretty scary, too !!

    • But that’s just it, Terry…why look to solve without the words when having the anagrams makes it so much simpler….and less frustrating. Maybe I’m missing something, but this is a game…it’s all supposed to be fun…I’m not being critical, and I hope by all means that I don’t sound so, but I feel badly when I hear people saying that they disappoint themselves by giving up. There’s no right or wrong way to solving the Jumble…what’s important is enjoying it. And I totally agree…the book was definitely scary! 🙋🏻‍♀️

      • Sorry…thought that was part of the scheme, at least for the high achievers, is to initially look at the puzzle cartoon, and try to figure it out before solving anagrams…ergo…a blind solve. I have always kind of liked to do it that way, but don’t pore over it, or fret, because I couldn’t do it. If after a few minutes, I give a quick sigh, and reach out for the anagrams. Yes…it’s a game, and always a fun one, however it’s played !!!

        • No need to be, Terry. As I said, I am. Obviously what I said was misconstrued, and again, the very last thing I’d ever want to do is sound condescending, and/or offend anyone. As far as solving at a glance, it’s my preference, and I’m sure it’s the choice of many others. But again, it’s all in fun, and any ways to the means, right? As long as one’s enjoying oneself, that’s all that counts..🙋🏻‍♀️

  6. Good morning. Today I was in possession of all my faculties. I was able to get both ends of the puzzle without much difficulty. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

  8. I was possessed of all my Jumble faculties and able to solve this morning’s anagrams and cartoon answer without difficulty, even though I’ve never seen the Exorcist. I don’t do Horror Movies. It’s a rainy blustery morning here in the West. Winter has arrived. Have a good day all.
