Today’s puzzle SERVES up a very witty solve. Wow , hello Friday ! Heading into the weekend , with two in a row of couldn’t see jumbles ! I had no problems with the anagrams , except I almost had a FLASH on the first one ! I really took my time and relaxed when I got to the jumble , but I just couldn’t get it ! I must’ve not had any bait on my hook cause I couldn’t catch any , it just wasn’t SUFFISHENT ! But let’s have a great day and I’m ready for end of the week Saturday !
Good morning. What a difference a day makes. One day your at the top of the mountain and then the next day you tumble to the bottom. I just couldn’t come up with the simple word of Sitcom. I looked it up and just shook my head in disgust, so easy and yet I missed it. Naturally I saw Fish but couldn’t figure out what to do with the remaining six letters. Flash stumped me as did the cartoon. Fish was an obvious middle word in the cartoon solution but I thought the was the 3 letter word so the hyphenated answer stumped me.
You have to study the dialogue, Prof…the key was right there. The words “Enough” and “Extra”…Plus seeing all that Fish! …And with the entire solve being in quotes AND hyphenated, that was the clue to the answer calling for just one word, therefore “The” wouldn’t come into play. I think if you would have had Flash, you’d have seen that there were 2 F’s needed…But be prepared…I’ve seen tomorrow’s puzzle…and there’s more quotes on the menu! 😉🙋🏻♀️
