There’s no reason to TIE ourselves up trying to solve this one…Because there’s KNOT much more we could LEARN besides what we’re seeing in our cartoon and hearing in our dialogue…So I’ll just ROPE it all in…The new crew member needed to….LEARN THE ROPES! https://tinyurl.com/mw8ka8um …
…And there’s two more crew members on deck, with a third up top getting ROPEd in with the sail…and looking pretty upset..I guess his nerves are in a KNOT…And of COURSE, the Signature Sinking Sailboat can be seen out on the water…
So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…and in keeping with our puzzle…Do you know why they use KNOTS instead of miles out on the ocean? Because they’ve got to keep the ocean TIED…🪢🙋🏻♀️

🐆 “In order to LEARN THE ROPES, you do realize that you’ll be GOING into the SEEDY COUGAR cage…no, cages…PLURAL, don’t you”? …was how the conversation began… 🐆
🤷🏻♂️ The workbooks all looked SEEDY, and yes, PLURAL was used,
How was he GOING to teach…his ego definitely bruised…
The lesson today, animals…the lion, COUGAR, bear,
But with these books he’d not get far…each one being dog-eared
He’s terribly disheartened…yet has no choice but to cope…
He guesses he’ll get used to things…be forced to LEARN THE ROPES…🤷🏻♂️
🙇🏻Here’s to hoping he’s not slow to learn,
For it looks like his stomach’s a ‘churn…
But they’re offering aid,
He need not be afraid…
When the tying will become his turn…🙇🏻
⚓️ So as far as sailing goes he’s new,
But in order to rank with this crew…
It’s a must he tie knots,
Show ‘em all that he’s got…
Or his sailing days just might be through…⚓️
🤦🏻♂️Looking cowered and slightly dismayed,
He’s not sure that he can make the grade…
Knots are all new to him,
And so to his chagrin…
Inexperience he’s forced to convey…🤦🏻♂️
👍🏻 Captain’s looking for bowline and square,
And the newbie? He knows hide nor hair….
But his fellow ship mate,
Steps up and clearly states…
That he’ll help…so there’s nothing to fear…👍🏻
🪢 Bottom line if a seaman you’ll be,
There’s loose ends must be tied to a T…
And if you’re gonna cope,
You need master the ropes…
Before you get to conquer the sea! 🪢
Good morning taco-Tuesday ! Always my favorites on Tuesday is tacos and the jumble ! Today started off nice with the anagrams ! Had no problem ! The jumble did require some thinking though ! I couldn’t find the cartoon late , So the phrase was what I got and I accidentally saw the answer , but I did have ROPES and I would’ve got it ! So it will make me LEARN THE ROPES ! Another fun one ! And I didn’t see a song , so one that came to me was “ come sail away “ by Styx ! Everyone have a great taco-Tuesday !!!!
An easy one slipped away this morning. Just didn’t think the right words this morning so there was no blind solve. Anagrams were pretty easy and faced with all those letters, pondered a bit before the light flashed As always, enjoyed Angela’s musings on this election day. Until the hump day rolls around, enjoy Taco Tuesday
Thank you, Terry! 🪢🙋🏻♀️
Aye, aye – them knots can be slippery slopes
But you’ve got to secure the ropes
They hold everything tight
Keep the gear in plain sight
‘Cause you can’t rely on just hopes!
It’s another anagram jungle. ROPES has five acronyms. There are a lot of things to learn. He needs to LEARN the ROPES. He may also need to LEARN the SPORE (any allergies?), LEARN the PORES (check for sunburn), LEARN the POSER, or especially LEARN the PROSE. When in doubt, read the instructions. And the other shipmates need not be so harsh on him; they need to SPARE the LONER. And in case anyone sets a fire aboard, they all need to learn how to REPEL the ARSON.
I meant anagrams, not acronyms.
A clean sweep on the anagrams and a blind solve on the cartoon! Have a happy Election Day.
Indeed yes, it’s your election day. Whatever you do, vote! Here in Ontario, we’ve been experiencing low voter turnout in recent elections.
Nice and easy puzzle this morning. Happy Tuesday all!
Jumble was fairly easy today with a slight stumble on cougar. Looking at the cartoon after the solving jumble it was a blind solve. we are waiting for our next snowfall in Reno today.
