  1. Good Morning, Everyone…. 🌳 HITTING PAY DIRT! 🌳

🎶 ‘Cause the truth about it is it all goes by real quick…You can’t buy happiness…But you can BUY DIRT…🎶 “Buy Dirt” – Jordan Davis w/Luke Bryan 2021 https://tinyurl.com/m8psbzxa

🌳The FEMALE speaking of the shrub gives us a major hint,
But if your copy’s SKIMPY…you may definitely need to squint…
The nursery they played around laid GRAVEL for a base,
And found a way to meld the green so it would interface…
(I’m taking POSTAL and ACQUIT…and doing a DETACH,
They’ve no place in this puzzle…the words don’t fit with this batch)..,
The bottom line…they have themselves a shrub that has an edge…
It’s new, it grew….and now they boast…”See our COMPETITIVE “HEDGE”! 🌳

My first thought…I hope y’all don’t throw in the TROWEL, I mean towel with this…because it’s a lot easier than you think. Sixteen letters? You’ve SEED worse! You can’t be intimidated…Trust me…the descriptive dialogue, the spot on drawing…the quotes…it’s all there….I hope you don’t give up the CLIP…I mean ship…

Ok…A Nursery…and a crew who genetically modified https://tinyurl.com/2skvz5dd a shrub. And I’ll give you the DIRT on the solve…Not only did Jeff give us dialogue that’s right on point…”Our PATENT” …and more so…”NO ONE can grow these”…that adds up to securing a COMPETITIVE EDGE. There’s “People …come…to see our MAZE… https://tinyurl.com/ymscpjwm …made up of HEDGES https://tinyurl.com/2yzcku7b EDGING the nursery….And his drawing, focusing on (as I mentioned in my rhyme)…the woman kneeling at the pot labeled SHRUB?… With a SHRUB and a BUSH being interchangeable terms for a low lying plant with multiple stems? … And our question giving us BUSHES? Not to mention those telltale quotation marks letting us know David’s HEDGING https://tinyurl.com/2yzcku7b (this time see #3)….with that 5-letter word? Put it all together… A maze of the genetically modified HEDGES? …And the shrub? Bottom line? This genetically modified CUTTING EDGE wonder they’ve created?… It gives them a …COMPETITIVE “HEDGE”! https://tinyurl.com/9rwx46xm …And the name on the pot containing said wonder? “A-MAZING” Shrub, (Version 3.8)…Now how witty is that?!! ….And yes, while the means to the end may seem complicated…you just had to see the forest…past the trees…I mean the HEDGES!

…And there’s a piece of the magic between the fingers of the woman kneeling and on the sleeve of the one standing…

So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…and I’ll SEED you all tomorrow…🌳🙋🏻‍♀️

    I STAND WITH UKRAINE 💔🇺🇦

  3. 🤦🏻‍♀️As the only FEMALE on the committee, she tried to DETACH her feelings, but knowing the men had the COMPETITIVE EDGE, she felt she had a SKIMPY chance of getting the others to ACQUIT, so to speak, the POSTAL worker over the GRAVEL situation…🤦🏻‍♀️

🤷🏻‍♀️Her voice by now like GRAVEL, she wished she could just DETACH,
Herself from the entire thing…and some sleep maybe catch…
Deliberations going nowhere, it’s ACQUIT or maybe not,
And patience now is SKIMPY…Someone’s POSTAL? They hope not…
The FEMALE witness held the weight…and then there is the sledge…
Looks like this here defendant totally lacks COMPETITIVE EDGE…🤷🏻‍♀️

  4. Teamwork marked our success for a tough Sunday Jumble. There was no blind solve involved….so we tackled the anagrams with gusto. Looking at that maze of unscrambled letters was a daunting task. We pondered…then pondered some more. I was first to think up HEDGE for edge…then after what seemed a hopeless try for the first word….Marsha successfully unscrambled COMPETITIVE !!! Way to go team !! Later on, a 6 year old granddaughter birthday party will put a cap on this fine day.

  5. The clue words came easily, but I couldn’t get  anywhere with either answer word. I didn’t realize the maze was a hedge, though it seems pretty obvious now. The dialog had me thinking  that something related to GMOs would be part of the answer. I need to  remember to look for words ending in “edge,” which I’ve missed before.
    Wishing all a fun day.

  6. They have a fine product to sell
    And are marketing very well
Be it a shrub or a hedge
(Or should they branch out to veg?)
It’s clear that they want to excel!

  7. No problem with the anagrams but had to resort to paper and pencil to solve the cartoon answer because there were so many letters. Maze made me think of ‘hedge” and the dialogue led me to “competitive. Good mental workout today. Have a good Sunday all!

  8. Too many letters for me to get competitive even though I solved all the anagrams and had hedge as the obvious second word. Maybe the extra hour of sleep dulled my brain.Congrats to the Astros and Dusty Baker on their WS win!
