  1. Good Morning, Everyone…🧕🏻 THE ABC’S OF WITCHERY 🧕🏻

🎶 Woo-hoo, WITCHY WOMAN…See how high she flies…Woo-hoo, WITCHY WOMAN…She got the moon in her eyes…🎶 “Witchy Woman” – The Eagles 1972 https://tinyurl.com/4r6m5j75

🧕🏻I’m not one to ADAPT to this, and SICKLY do I feel,
To put PENCIL to paper with it..sends me in a reel…
(THYME doesn’t fit the scene at all, I’ll just leave it untouched)
Kind of like the idea of this…I don’t enjoy it much…
We’re dealing with a poor witch in a Monty Python skit…
But as for me? Unsettling…I’d rather “DISPELL” IT…🧕🏻

With today’s puzzle we’re in the midst of a scene https://tinyurl.com/bdedya9b from “Monty Python and the Holy Grail” https://tinyurl.com/4wf4uk6p with a witch who of course can cast SPELLS. And the woman being accused by the lynch mob, from her dialogue, brings truth to the “rumor”. Having gotten caught, she now needs to DISPEL said rumor…And hopefully has just the right potion to do so….resulting in them forgetting…making it all disappear…. https://tinyurl.com/mtyxe73d …And with the quotes calling for the witty play on words?…That said SPELL?…She wanted to..”DISPELL” IT!

Our cartoon…Three blood-thirsty peasants, one of whom was turned into a newt. A structure holding two cages, one with the poor woman with the carrot nose and the other, the infamous duck And off in the background, a man pulling a cart with what appears to be dead bodies upon it…As I said…not my cup of boiled toe of frog…

So…There you have it Folks…Done! Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…and I’ll beWITCH ya again tomorrow…🧕🏻🙋🏻‍♀️

    I STAND WITH UKRAINE 💔🇺🇦

    • Great song ! Still singing it in my head ! See how high she flies !! Eagles wrote many good tunes !

  2. 🤦🏻‍♂️ With the dog looking PENCIL-thin SICKLY after he’d gotten into the THYME, the Vet told his owner that he’d need to ADAPT to all new dietary rules…and as for his worried thoughts, the Vet did his best to DISPEL IT all….🤦🏻‍♂️

🤷🏻‍♂️He sat there with his PENCIL poised, a SICKLY feeling felt,
He studied a whole lot of words, had most under his belt…
But THYME just took him by surprise…he really had no clue,
He thought ADAPT was hard enough…but this? Trouble anew
Time’s running out, he just can’t think…and so he simply sits…
Thoughts that he’ll fail have him unnerved…no way to DISPEL IT! 🤷🏻‍♂️

  3. Good morning , end of the week Saturday ! The jumble was good ! I had a hard THYME with that one , but the rest were good to me ! The jumble required a little bit of witchcraft ! I first got the word SPELL , then TDII was left and the only way to make that word is for you to DISPELL IT ! Fun Saturday jumble ! Hope everyone has a great sports day !!!!!

  4. This is the Holy Grail of Jumble puzzles. I just love all of the Monty Python references from the movie that are included in the cartoon! This was a fun one!

  5. Nice way to finish off the week (or Sunday) with a blind solve and easy anagrams. Thanks for all your graphic explanations to the cartoon, Angela…and yes, some pretty macabre !! Excellent song choice given the witchy women involved, but I’ll be humming Frank Sinatra’s Witchcraft this morning.

  6. So they think that I’m a witch
Hmm….that notion I’ll have to ditch
    I’ll uncast my spells
    Confuse their brain cells
And on someone else they can snitch!

  7. Good morning. I backed into Thyme Being stuck I went to the cartoon and had a blind solve. After checking what I had with the letters I knew I needed an E and a T which enabled me to finally come up with the first word. Loved your song choice Angela and all your goodies you added. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

  8. Broke my winless streak w a solve of the anagrams and even the cartoon! Plus without a real paper newspaper hooray for me.
Condolences to Houston on the tough Astro loss last night, go and rebound tonight.

  9. My brain got stuck on “slicky” instead of “sickly” for some reason, even though “DISPELL” IT was the easy solve. For some reason “thyme” jumped right out at me. Must be the spaghetti sauce my daughter is always making.
As for Angela’s song choice, I was expecting “Season of the Witch” by Donovan. That’s okay, the Eagles are always a go to. “Take It Easy” jumblers!

  10. Jumble has become part of my daily ritual and I really enjoy solving them. Thank you.

The 10/29/22 Jumble answer has 10 letters yet the individual words total only 9…and the online answer “dispell it” has 9 also.

    • Hi…There are only 9 letters in today’s puzzle answer, 7 and 2. I don’t know why you’re thinking there should be 10 letters. And there are only 9 letters circled in the given words…2-2-2 and 3. Here’s the puzzle from my paper… https://tinyurl.com/49jfrw5v I hope this helps. 🙋🏻‍♀️
