Good Morning, Everyone…🕰 CHIME WAITS FOR NO PLAN 🕰
🎶This could be one of those days…that we must go our separate ways…🎶 “No Time Soon” – Gnarls Barkley 2008 https://tinyurl.com/ywwbczev
🕰The TEMPO of the clock is off, she needs to have it fixed,
The Holidays approaching, it’s just one thing on her list…
The WISDOM of the Clockmaker..she’s lucky to have found,
An old world artisan as he? Aren’t many left around…
But will her hopes be SUNKEN…can our man get needed parts?
Will she HOIST her clock on the wall..or will this break her heart?
Her picture perfect Christmas…food, laughter…nostalgic tunes…
Won’t be complete now as he says…”Back when?…No, NO TIME SOON”…🕰
How lucky in this day and age to still own a vintage German Chalet Clock such as this. How luckier still to find someone with the skills enough to repair it… But parts from Europe…in today’s climate? I think her luck ran out…and that cuckoo we see hanging out might be there a little longer than planned…I’m sure the old clockmaker will do his best…but NO TIME SOON may be the TICKet…
And in the showcase…an Anniversary clock and a retro Century clock, with a Grandfather clock standing to the side and a Cuckoo clock on the wall…And if you look real closely you can see the clip-on eye loupe magnifiers, essential to the trade, attached to the man’s glasses…
So…There you have it Folks..Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind…and stay safe out there..🕰🙋🏻♀️
ANAGRAM HISTORY…🔠🙋🏻♀️

🤦🏻♂️The TEMPO changed and they all felt their good moods to be SUNKEN, when someone…who’d be assigned again in NO TIME SOON…displayed misplaced WISDOM with his decision to HOIST the flag without first unraveling the ropes…🤦🏻♂️
💃🏻🕺🏻They felt the TEMPO perfect, the act they had down pat,
But when he went to HOIST her, he slipped and fell down flat…
His fault ‘cause in his WISDOM, or should we say lack of,
He didn’t grasp her properly to be help up above…
And now their dreams are SUNKEN…this chance once in a blue moon…
Has just gone by the wayside…Champion dancers? NO TIME SOON…💃🏻🕺🏻
It’s thirsty-Thursday ! And at first the anagrams were making me thirsty , cause I didn’t have the right TEMPO , so it left me a little SUNKEN , but I depended on my WISDOM to HOIST me out of it and I cheated a little and felt ok ! Now the jumble with the repairing of the clock , the first word that came to me was TIME a and since they needed it repaired the word NO came and with NO TIME SOON came tick-tocking away ! And that gave me 🎵(no time left for you ) I found myself some wings 🎵 the Guess Who ! Everyone have a great thirsty-Thursday !
🤷🏻♂️Clock repair is a fine art for sure,
And with this a clock from days of yore…
It calls for special parts,
Being a piece of art..
And it won’t be that quick to restore! 🤷🏻♂️
🕰 With her clock that she’s had many years,
And now showing a roof full of tears…
Plus it’s not keeping time,
Like it did in its prime…
So she’s bringing it in for repairs…🕰
🤷🏻♂️It’s her hope that the turnaround’s quick,
And repairs are our man’s bailiwick..,
But without parts on hand,
Since they’re not in demand…
It’ll take time for this clock to tick! 🤷🏻♂️
🤦🏻♀️With the Holidays now drawing near,
And her clock in such need of repair…
Her hope to get it back,
Keep tradition on track…
Doesn’t seem likely it will appear…🤦🏻♀️
🤷🏻♂️Knowing there isn’t time on his side,
The bad news there’s no way he can hide…
With a clock such as this,
Needing parts probably Swiss?
It’ll be fixed…but time? Take in stride! 🤷🏻♂️
Out of the starting blocks, we composed IN GOOD TIME, but when checking against the anagrams, only one “I”. ON SOON TIME didn’t make any sense until we placed TIME in the middle and changed ON to NO…whew !!!
Being stationed in Europe in the 70’s, bought several European/German clocks…and wondered why many were missing various wooden, decorative appendages. Seems like one reason was the severely cold winter of 1944 during WWII and those pieces came off and went into the fireplace to keep warm. Interesting, No ??
I also had ‘on soon time’ before finding NO TIME SOON.
The cucko clock story was interesting. I hope it doesn’t happen this year due to natural gas shortages.
I had read the clue before figuring out the letters and guessed it might be some spin on “IN DUE TIME” and then when I got the letters, I figured maybe ON _____ TIME.. SOON was the only thing that made sense, but I’m unfamiliar with the phrase “NO TIME SOON” either, so I have both of them down as guesses =)
Good morning. I was able to get both parts of jumble without much trouble. I just couldn’t get the blind solve. Once I realized that “time” was not the last word but the second word it all fell into place. On Tcapp’s comment, I would say that you’re correct. I remember way back helping my father in the basement breaking up the old wind up victrola (would love to have that piece of furniture now) to put in the burner for heat. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.
Stumped on the cartoon puzzle again, guess I’m losing my touch!

Mike…No time soon…not any time soon…it’s a fairly common idiom.🙋🏻♀️
