  1. Good Morning, Everyone…I hope this finds you well…
    ✈️ YOU’RE TOAST WHEN YOU’RE STUCK IN A JAM! ✈️

🎶 Look all around, there’s nothing but blue skies…Look STRAIGHT AHEAD, there’s nothing but blue skies…I CAN SEE CLEARLY NOW…the rain is gone…🎶 “I Can See Clearly Now” – Johnny Nash 1972 https://tinyurl.com/5ypyycuk

✈️ It’s hard to maintain POISE when people find that they are stuck,
In traffic on the parkway, ‘specially behind a truck…
We’ve all KNELT to the traffic gods asking that we be spared,
But situations STINKY ‘oft times leave us with teeth bared…
And gas the price of CAVIAR…just adding to the plight?
There’s def relief when finally the airport’s IN “PLANE” “SITE”! ✈️

Hurry, hurry…get to the Airport…and hope your flight’s not delayed, or being rerouted…or cancelled altogether…Ah, life with the airlines after the pandemic…All new meaning to fly-by-night!

So…VCRAAI? Were you STUCK? A few of the Early Birds were…and two of them even aGREED on AVARICE…😉 I just shook my head…and WENT AROUND them…

Ok…Let’s get this thing OFF THE GROUND….Our couple today, (driving their Jumble car, as identified by the signature “J” logo on the steering wheel), are worried about making their flight on time. And hopefully by now, those amongst us worried about grappling with Quotation Trepidation have outgrown the PHRASE, I mean phase…and have come to realize that they truly do make it easier to REACH OUR DESTINATION…especially since today where we’re DOUBLE-BOOKED! Seeing them assures us that the word or words they’re playing off are going to be right there IN FRONT of us…IN “PLANE” “SITE”! https://tinyurl.com/5fyv8mkm …Our dialogue…”No traffic BLOCKING us”…Our question…giving us “Easy to SEE” = SIGHT and the Airport = SITE…And Jeff showing us the WAY…with his OPEN ROAD and the PLANES taking off?… Definitely another easy FLIGHT to the finish…

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well. Be kind. Stay safe…and remember…When it comes to these Quotation Marks? Don’t overthink it…just keep it PLANE and simple…🛩🙋🏻‍♀️

    I STAND WITH UKRAINE 💔🇺🇦
…AND I STAND FOR REFORM IN AMERICA 💔🇺🇸

  2. 🤦🏻‍♀️ With the deadline to submit the CAVIAR dish now IN PLAIN SIGHT, she tried to maintain her POISE…all the while thinking that she should have KNELT in prayer asking that the results didn’t turn out STINKY…🤦🏻‍♀️

🤷🏻‍♂️ He found it to be STINKY, CAVIAR just not his jam, *
He’d much rather be dining on potatoes and some ham…
Those who KNELT down to ostentatious displays of a kind,
When it came down to dining out always just blew his mind
But POISE was on the menu too, so surely for the night…
He’ll maintain strict decorum while he’s here now IN PLAIN SIGHT…🤷🏻‍♂️

    * Something one particularly prefers, desires, enjoys, or cares about.

  3. ⏰ It’s important to get there in time,
Where most likely you’ll just stand on line…
And the stress it can cause,
    Has some people on pause…
    Today traveling’s far from sublime…⏰

🤦🏻‍♂️Stuck in traffic, their nerves stood on edge,
“We’ll leave earlier next time” now the pledge…
    But it really depends,
    On what the traffic lends…
Will you move or be stuck in a wedge? 🤦🏻‍♀️

✈️ Today ETA hardly holds true,
    Seems delays constantly will ensue…
You can get your hopes high,
    That you’ll easily fly…
But then something always goes askew…✈️

🚘They sit hoping for traffic’s relent,
Way more time in their car has been spent…
    Than they had planned upon,
    Precious time now is gone…
And they can’t help but begin to vent! 🚘

🙏🏻 Thankfully now they see their way clear,
And in minutes they’ll finally be there…
    With the Airport ahead,
They let go of their dread…
Now it’s hoping their plane does appear! 🙏🏻

  4. Today did not make me thirsty ! I got the anagrams with a perfect POISE ! Not one was STINKY ! I feel like celebrating and have some CAVIAR ! The jumble didn’t make me bend so I didn’t need to have KNELT ! When I saw the letters and it referred to the plane and seeing clearly it was definitely IN PLANE SITE ! Another airborne jumble with a perfect landing ! Here’s a toast to a very fun jumble on thirsty-Thursday ! Everyone have a great day !!!!!!

  5. Oh dear, just didn’t take enough time to finish blind solve before involving others. I showed Marsha the puzzle cartoon and said it was probably IN XXXXX SITE….she took one look and added PLANE. There ya go. Anagrams pretty much a breeze, along with a tuneful melody to start the day. Thanks, Angela.

  6. The Jumble makers went into the woods with this one. This was a Jungle instead of a Jumble. This is because the words in this Jungle have large numbers of anagrams, for example, PINES, SPINE, SNIPE and one other word; LEASE, EASEL; PEST, PETS, STEP; and PLANE, PANEL, PENAL, and NEPAL. As a result, there are a huge number of shadow solutions. To me the main one is IN PLAIN TIES. Perhaps the two guys were wearing ordinary-looking ties. Other shadows include IN PANEL SITE, IN ALIEN STEP, IN EATEN LIPS, IN ALINE STEP, AN ELITE SPIN, IN NEPAL SITE, and so forth. And they were not IN PLANE SITE anyway. The plane site is the airport. They were near but not IN the airport.

    • Hi jmvb13, since you’ve decided to go fishing I’ll take the bait. Among other words you’ve created, you took away the “O” in “Poise” and added an “N” to create the word “SNIPE.” I’m not trying to snipe at you. Just a heads up, though, this puzzle is called “Jumble” not “Jumbled.” No one would try to (anagram) TUMSP you on thirsty- Thursday

    • Hi jimvb13, I know you’re having fun and since you’ve decided to go fishing I’ll take the bait. You seemed to have taken the anagram for POISE, replaced the “O” for an “N” then went on to write that, among the other words you’ve created, “Snipe” was overlooked. I don’t think the authors would try to (anagram) TUMSP you, especially on a thirsty-Thursday. Keep having fun!

  7. Good morning. Both the words and cartoon were not a problem today. Unable to come up with a blind solve though. Loved the song Angela and the video that had beautiful scenery as well. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

    • Good Morning, Paul. Tk you. Glad you enjoyed it. Have a good one…Be well and stay safe out there…✈️🙋🏻‍♀️

    • Hi George…David has used the word CAVIAR in many of his past puzzles, and I don’t think the word Variac has ever come up before. The Merriam-Webster Dictionary, (as you can see below) which is what he uses as his guide, lists it as “trademark” (as do some other sources), which would explain it not be considered a viable Jumble selection. But I can pass this on to him. Thanks for commenting and enjoy your day! 🙋🏻‍♀️

      • Interesting that the correct “I ” and “A” are found in each.
Yes, a trade name like “scotch tape” used as a generic name.

        • Yes, George, it is quite a coincidence. And yes, Scotch tape is one of the many trademarked brand names that have become generically commonplace in our language, like Tupperware and Kleenex…But I must admit, I don’t think I’ve ever heard the word Variac used before in speech, or seen it in writing. I guess there’s always a first! 😉🙋🏻‍♀️

  8. Caviar gave me reason to pause, but having solved that, the cartoon answer was a quick near blind solve, despite the words in quotes, which usually give me trouble. Now an Astro fan, beat those ‘darn Yankees’.

  9. As with others, caviar was the word that took me the longest to solve. Other than that it was a “plane” and easy puzzle today. Have a good one all!.

  10. The Reno airport is with insight from all over town. Stumbled on caviar with Everest but Millie poses out and we had a tasty treat. Easy breezy so on Thursday Thursday. Looking for our first frost this weekend. Everyone be safe and enjoy but we have
