Cause it looks like the lot of them came with a float in tote…
And we can see them FIXATE on the spot where they each lie,
No LAWMAN will come bother them…it’s legal by and by…

Today, another puzzle that LAID it all out for us. The clues were many…The key word in the man’s dialogue…”FLEET”…The woman saying that no one’s swimming (ie) they’re “FLOATING” instead…Our cartoon showing such a LARGE NUMBER of people on INFLATABLES…and our question purposely using that word…avoiding the word FLOAT…And the presence of the quotation marks, telling us there’d be a variant spelling? …POOL it altogether? Jeff’s Gems? Our little girl sports a daisy in her hair, and if you look real closely, just beyond the man in the frosted donut at right, you can see two tiny fish…and I suppose our couple may simply be beachcombers, since they don’t appear to be dressed for swimming…

Now the jumble , I thought at first AFLOAT , but that left LIL , then I had to cheat and saw FLOATILLA , which I didn’t know what that was ! So I looked up the definition and it then made sense ! So I was almost there , but I didn’t recognize FLOATILLA ! Now I know ! Everyone have a great weekend !!!!!

People spread out all acting carefree…
One guy brought ‘long his drink,
Figuring he won’t sink…
So he floats while enjoying ice tea!🥤

It’s infringing on some bathers bliss…
They’d like to see way clear,
But with all these floats here?

Never thinking they’d meet,
Up with such a large fleet…

Managed to blind solve this little jewel today….was searching for a word to sum up cartoon and finally thought of FLOAT…and the ending appeared soon afterwards. Easy anagrams to boot. Was there a song in your blog?.
Nice and easy puzzle to end the week. It’s Fleet Week here in San Francisco so we had a flotilla off Tall Ships sail under the Golden Gate Bridge yesterday – always an awesome sight. ⚓️. Have a good Saturday all!
