A man desperately trying TOGA to great lengths in order to win favor with his wife…to CAESAR attention…but to no aVEIL…Who knows what’s led up to this…Perhaps he tried one time too many to RULE the roost…perhaps she REIGNed on his parade…perhaps she caught him ROMAN around and wants to CROWN him…or perhaps they’ve just reached the point where it’s time to THRONE in the towel…Whatever…But it all comes down to this…His dialogue…”Are you not entertained”? Our question, giving us EMPEROR, obviously making her an EMPRESS…and “Showed off” …paired with seeing him URNing to please her…giving us trying to IMPRESS…Folks…we’ve got ourselves another easy, breezy CROWN jewel…He’s trying to IMPRESS THE EMPRESS!
And take a close look at the Urn…Three figures can be seen…There’s a man at left, which may be a Roman, seemingly reading something…but the middle one is Jeff, seated, working at his drawing board, while the third man, standing, is David filling in the circles of his puzzle layout…they’re creating a Jumble!…Too funny! Jeff never CAESARs to amaze me! 👏🏻👏🏻!…And you gotta love the servant…he’s JESTER ‘bout right with his comment. The Emperor’s display is hardly impressive…kind of laughable really …And our Empress ain’t LION when she says he’s no GLADIATOR…It’s so obvious she URNs for more…

Easy one today. I am a little embarrassed that I didn’t get a blind solve. I guessed the first word of the answer was IMPRESS, but couldn’t guess the second word. The left over letters let me solve it, and my response was duh… My brain isn’t up to full speed yet today.
