  1. Good Morning, Everyone… 🌊 SEA-ING IS BELIEVING! 🌊

    🎶Somewhere beyond the SEA…🎶 “Beyond The Sea” – Bobby Darin 1959 https://tinyurl.com/3phtw9bp

🌊 A GIANT span of time has passed, since MOOSE had visited here,
A little kid eating POTPIE with all his family near…
Remembering the LUCENT look the water had back then,
It brings back tons of memories as he sees it again…
And he def feels that this trip too will leave him memories…
The Coastline still so beautiful…his thought…LONG TIME NO “SEA”! 🌊

So many times our childhood memories don’t translate well when we get older…but here today we SEA that Moose can easily COAST through his…

Standing at the coastline of Santorini, Greece, https://tinyurl.com/4t4tj7xy overlooking the beautiful Mediterranean “SEA,” https://tinyurl.com/mwu6t7br (which purposely remained nameless)… we find Moose reminiscing about the last time he visited, 40 years ago…add that to our dialogue…”When I was a kid” = LONG TIME AGO, and “I could stare” = See…Plus those tell-tale quotation marks?…It paints not only a beautiful picture, but an easy solve to boot…His last visit was…LONG TIME NO “SEA” https://tinyurl.com/bdh2e7hv

Down below, a couple taking a selfie…and if you look real closely, way back and off to the right? The Signature Sinking Sailboat…

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…and here’s to us all SEAing better days ahead…🌊🙋🏻‍♀️

    • By standing for reform in America, I hope you mean peaceful acceptance of our democratic election processes and compassion and understanding for those in America who are struggling, as well as those whose only safe harbor come here as immigrants.

  2. 🍤 Since the theme of the reunion was LONG TIME NO SEE, they decided dinner should be seafood…so she baked a shrimp POTPIE…and just for laughs brought along the GIANT LUCENT MOOSE statue that she found at the flea market…🍤

🥧 The POTPIE has a LUCENT look…perhaps she overdid,
The butter that she brushed it with…patterned in a neat grid…
She has a GIANT crowd to feed, tonight at the MOOSE Lodge,
And she’s been cooking all day…making quite the old hodgepodge
Pandemic kept them all apart…what fun it’s gonna be…
    To reunite…and joyfully hear…”Oh wow…LONG TIME NO SEE”! 🥧

  3. 🇬🇷 Born in Greece, Moose left beautiful shores,
Wondering if he’d be back anymore..
    Settled into the states,
    As was many a fate…
But his memories he held in store…🇬🇷

🧑🏻‍🦱Forty years had gone by and time came,
For Moose to see the land of his name…
And just like that young kid,
    His excitement’s not hid…
    And the wonder he’s feeling?…The same! 🧑🏻‍🦱

🤷🏻‍♂️Yes he’s older and seen lots of change,
    Some a blessing…and some just deranged…
And he looks at the Sea,
    Thinking back to when he…
Left it to travel to a land strange…🤷🏻‍♂️

🌊 And the years made the new land his home,
While he read of Greece in his school tomes…
    And today to return?
    What’s Moose’s first concern?…
The beauty of the Sea’s white foam…🌊

🇬🇷 Moose is happy…his heart now content,
And those memories sealed in cement?
    Came to life once again,
He feels like he did then…
And this trip back to Greece?…Time well spent 🇬🇷

  4. Starting to set a pattern and fun jumbles Monday-Wednesday, then after that hey just become unthinkable ! Couldn’t get POTPIE or LUCENT ! But I did get the GIANT MOOSE ! Too many letters and words ! Hopefully tomorrow , Saturday will end the week with a fun jumble ! Todays was a fun jumble but the solve said it to me LONG TIME NO “SEA” , everyone have a great Friday !

  5. I’ll parrot Jim’s words and comment about the difficult anagrams. Though it was not a complete blind solve, I just knew it had LONG, TIME and SEA somewhere scattered in the sand. As I moved through the anagrams, MOOSE and GIANT came rather quickly, then I stumbled on POTPIE. I almost went to the word solver before that solve came along. Well, I thought nothing could be harder than that particular word, but I did a further stumble on LUCENT, finally using word solver to unscramble it. WHEW !!! My hunch was correct and easily placed all the letters correctly for the final solution.

Nice song choice this morning….very appropriate. Too bad he had to die so young from heart trouble…Alas.

Have a great TGIF and see you hopefully for an easier Saturday morning !!

  6. I found LUCENT and POTPIE quickly, but checked M-W to make sure they were in it. Otherwise it was easy.

I was at that spot in Santorini last year. Since I visited off season, it wasn’t very crowded.

  7. Good morning. Tough one this morning. I got potpie but really wasn’t sure but gave up on lucent. Then caved in on the cartoon answer. As I said, a rough morning. But was all smiles with Angela’s song choice. He could entertain you. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

  8. Real challenge for me this morning. Totally struggled with lucent. Had to put the puzzle down and come back to it. Finally got it and pondered the cartoon answer which I was able to figure out. One funny thing is that I saw two T’s instead of two P’s in the third anagram so wrote tiptoe instead of pot pie but got the right letters for the cartoon anagram in spite of myself. Good Grief Charlie Brown!! It was crazy morning. Happy day all! 🙃

    • Good grief, indeed, Miss Betty!….Your post made me think of this..
“It is not the things we get, but the hearts we touch that will measure our success in life.” – Charlie Brown.
No matter what, you’re always a success in my book…🌊🙋🏻‍♀️

  9. Good Fall morning Jumblers ! Once on a visit to our son’s home in Vermont – we went a different way, stopping at one point to let our Westie out of the car for awhile – when all of a sudden, the sun shone on a “LUCENT, GIANT MOOSE” that met us in a wooded area ! Yikes ! The “POTPIE” Daisey left after being so scared – we decided “LONG TIME NO SEA” was the way to leave that moose in the woods ! True story, the jumble worked out perfectly to tell it – so until tomorrow, have a “sunny day” 🌞

  10. Isn’t pot pie two words? I thought it was, and the dictionary looked as though it was two words, so I went with Pepito, even though that is a foreign word. I guess I need to study the exact rules of jumble.. are foreign languages allowed? And what about concatenation of two words?

    • Hi David…David uses the Merriam Webster dictionary as his go to for all of his word choices. And as you can see here, https://tinyurl.com/5cbku3yk it’s listed as one word. Two words may be acceptable, but the choice here was the one, and it’s been used this way in previous Jumble puzzles. As for foreign words, no, they’re never used, nor are medical words, or proper names. And as for concatenation…maybe as a pun in the puzzle’s answer, but not as far as the 4 or 6 daily words are concerned. I hope this helps. Have a good night, and thanks for commenting. 🙋🏻‍♀️
