He felt just like a SKIER, a slippery slope ahead,
If his parents caught wind of this? There’d be nothing but dread…
His Dad a couch POTATO, but still adored his car,
And Sal said that he understood…knowing how most men are…
He set out to do the GROUND work saying, “Kid let’s take a chance…
And see if we can’t fix her up…bid these dings GOOD “RID-DENTS”! 🚙
DING, DING, DING! …In keeping with the patTURN these past few days, today we’re on the ROAD to another easy, breezy solve. And the first clue was the glaring avoiDENTS of the word DENTS in the dialogue and in our question…replaced instead with Dings… (an instance of minor surface damage – such as a dent)…And the rest was easy enough to HAMMER OUT?..Sal, (identified by the name on his shirt), saying…”Just like new” and the teen saying “Wow” = GOOD…And the fact that we can see the car repaired…gleaming…RID of the DENTS? So…There you have it Folks…Done! Have a good one…Be well, be kind, stay safe…And did you know that car manufacturers actually hire people to put dents into new cars in order to test the safety features? Needless to say the job’s very depressing…🚙🙋🏻♀️

Good morning Wednesday hump-day ! Kind of a tricky one ! I couldn’t get it ! I thought the play on words was off ! It definitely left a dent in my brain ! Now the anagrams were consistent with the weeks but the jumble didn’t get me over the hump-day with the jumble ! Im ready to get back on track and continue with the jumble pattern ! Sorry to pout , everyone have a great Wednesday hump-day !!!!!
I didn’t like this puzzle,i thought it was too tough.
so ,onto my computer,It got me through the rough.
I found what was the answer.It came up right away.
I am glad that I have found it,it really made my day.

Unscrambling the words was easy. I found GOOD right away, but it took some effort to find DENTS, leaving RID. GOOD workout,.
A stumped Wednesday as I was stumped by the potato anagram and then even more completely clueless on the cartoon solution! I guess the thunder showers have dulled my mind!
Good puzzle today. Figured dents would be in the cartoon answer so no problem coming up with the rest of the solution. It’s fun when I have to ponder a bit. Happy Wednesday all!
