Our couple has decided that they need a getaway…
So much has had an IMPACT upon our daily lives,
It’s nice to have some time alone…just husbands and their wives…
Romantic quiet dinner, an ONION bagel BRUNCH,
Relaxing sans distraction…and facing no time crunch…
But looking at Ilona…who before displayed bravado?

Poor Ilona…now she’s BEARly sure about staying!

Well he is at LEAST. I get the impression that Ilona might have been looking for a little bit more….No phones, no cell towers, no Wi-Fi…God, I hope these two really “like” one another. Anyway… They’re at an INN…where they’ll have no means of communication with the outside world…The solve? 🥑 The kids attended “ONION Patch”, a preschool widely known,
And they served BRUNCH on Sundays and were noted for their scones…
The parents in the MIDST those days def felt the school’s IMPACT,
Upon their kids and lauded its success…and that’s a fact…
The only complaint ever heard? The brunch…no avocado…
And so far even though they ask? School’s INCOMMUNICADO! 🥑
🤦🏻♀️We see Forrest who’s looking to chill,
And this place surely will fill the bill…
But Ilona has doubt,
Learning bears are about…
And it looks like it’s lessened her thrill…🤦🏻♀️

Our young couple on run from the grind…
They have cut all their ties,

Good morning Friday ! Ok , the week heading into the weekend ended today ! The anagrams were all fun and entertaining ! The jumble was out there in the ONION field , MIDST the other vegetables ! I just had BRUNCH , but that had no IMPACT on the solving of the jumble ! Cute , but no communication ! Can’t wait for Saturdays jumble ! Everyone have a fun Friday !!!

It was a good Jumble morning (for a change) with somewhat of a half-blind solve. Upon an initial look, I had no idea to cartoon answer. After solving MIDST and starting to write down letters for ONION, the answer came to me in a flash !! After the last few days, am patting myself on the back. The very apt Frank Sinatra peps me up, too. As is usually the case, I’ll have to go back and re-examine the cartoon because of Angela’s gems….Thanks for those…and see you Saturday

Good morning everyone – what a beautiful day to solve a really cute jumble – I was able to solve the jumble first thing before anagrams – I loved it, how clever. . . So, in the “MIDST” of the “ONION” patch the cook picked out a big one for the “BRUNCH” recipe that made quite an “IMPACT” – but the cook had to become “INN COMMUNICADO” because of such bad onion breath ! !
