It sort of seems unlikely that there’d be sales one could boast..
And this is no small KIOSK, (and here I’m dumping CLONE)…
I guess with fireworks right now it sets a different tone…
The Dragon Rockets and the like that light up and GYRATE,
Just seem to be so in demand…there’s appetites to sate…
The bottom line it looks like Sam will definitely be pocketing…
Some serious change despite how costs today just keep SKYROCKETING!🧨
Except for Massachusetts, here in the United Stares the sale of some, if not all kinds of fireworks are legal. Some states are a LOT more liberal than others, but the bottom line is it’s still all SMOKE and quivers…
So…Today, for our puzzle of the 4th, we’re DEALING with the SALE of Fireworks and the NUMBER of people LIT up about them, at “Sam’s Grand Finale”. (I guess he’s planning on going out with a BANG)…And business is BOOMing! I didn’t have time to fLIT around looking to identify what’s for sale…it’s BURN way too long of a day…but suffice to say ROCKETS are running amok! And since I’m not all that familiar with Fireworks, you’re on your own here Folks…If any of you out there with a LEGAL eye care to identify them…feel free to call ‘em as you see ‘em…But as for Sam, decked out in his traditional Uncle Sam top hat, if you go row PYRO and take stock of all that merchandise, he’s definitely racking UP the sales! And it looks like the SKY’s the limit…And as for our solve? You know me, I have a FLARE for these things, and once again, this one FELL right into my lap. Let’s face it, Folks, this ain’t ROCKET science…and I think you’d be hard pressed to BLOW this one…Between the dialogue…”You sure are BUSY”…and “Sales are WAY UP”…plus the words NUMBER and BUY in our question…CAPped off by all those ROCKETS on full display? There’s a sign at check out that reads, “No Refunds”. …I guess you’ve blown it…you own it…All in all, another tip of the cap to Jeff. …He’s once aGAIN done a BANG up job!

Good morning Monday , start of a new week ! I guess I got spoiled with how fun and entertaining the jumbles are starting on Monday ! This is the first Monday that I had to look up the answer and anagram GYRATE ! I really tried , but maybe I got spoiled and rushed my brain too much ! The jumble was too high in the SKY and ROCKETING my brain , cause I didn’t get it ! Oh well , it was still a fun jumble ! Everyone have a great start of the week Monday !!!!
Good morning. I did have difficulty in finally getting Gyrate. My choice for hardest word even more so than the cartoon answer. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe for this 4th of July.
Wasn’t the Monday Blind Solve I was expecting….but easy anagrams (even GYRATE) led me to a fairly successful conclusion. Glancing at the letters, I saw some “K”s which led to ROCKET and then took out ING. Am sure Angela has a swell song for us to listen to…and will hear that later. Have a great holiday !!

Canada Day was July 1, so I’ve made this a double-duty loonie limerick.
I wish everyone a happy July 4th!
I guest the answer was ASTRONOMICAL… all the letters were in the anagrams. I soon found out that the first anagram was KIOSK and my intuition went out the window. GYRATE was the stumbling block.

Gyrate was the word that took me the longest to solve. Pondered the cartoon answer for a bit but once I saw “rocket” the other letters fell into place nicely. Firework sales are illegal in most of the counties in the Bay Area though there are many “official” displays. Happy Fourth to all of you. 🇺🇸🦅
Gyrate had me stumped as well.Illinois forbids the sale of fireworks within the state but there are plenty of fireworks around,imported from neighboring states.

I love July 4 th – it has such special meaning – our father served in the Navy, step father in the Marines and our mom in the Coast Guard – they’re all gone now, but were all a part of making America Free – what a GREAT holiday !
Speaking of the jumble – Gyrate was tuff for me and for some reason so was Modest – puzzle was a little brain tussle as well – but we have Pride in America that is “SKY ROCKETING” each year ! Angela you guys give us great puzzles each day – Thank you !
