But here in Jumble Land it’s true…I guess it’s quite a find…
We see two bats that HUDDLE, in this very odd LOCALE,
As far as I’m concerned I’d SWOON…as would most of my pals…
So WHILE we find ourselves here where a mammal comes to wallow…
They think of their departed in this sacred HALLOWED HOLLOW! 🦇

Ok…before we begin, it might help knowing that a cave is a natural underground HOLLOW space, that can have narrow passageways (corridors) and CHAMBERS (caverns). But even if you’re unaware, let’s not allow that to stand in our way of solving today’s puzzle…Yes, it’s a lot of letters, and yes, it might turn your stomach…(have I mentioned that)? …but still, the clues are all there…And even though I cringed, I mean blinked, for the slightest moment, I still saw where David was going with this…and I knew I could WING it…It automatically CLICKED…** So before you find yourself saying…”What the “L”? Just study the dialogue…”SACRED” Moonbeam, “Those who flew BEFORE us”…And there’s our question giving us “SHRINE”…They created a place to honor their dead…it’s HALLOWED ground***…And the cave’s small chamber is a HOLLOW…So the LOCALE?…It’s a HALLOWED HOLLOW! And it’s BLOODY Brilliant!
As for our cartoon…Jeff’s given us three bats, which looks like a family. A pup, a male, and a female (with a very becoming HAIRdo)…who’s the one calling for the remembrance…seemingly at the sight of the Bat Signal. Hmm…Maybe she’s a little DISTRESSed by it…And the whimsical “Bat Signal“ https://tinyurl.com/54ht5utu that’s at the end of the moonbeam’s shine? If you look real closely, and turn it UPSIDE DOWN, you’ll see what appears to be a tiny Bat-shaped crack in the cave’s facade…Even BATter whimsy!

If I was in jumble football , I would call a HUDDLE , the next play and WHILE I tried to find a bat cave in this LOCALE , I couldn’t find HALLOWED HOLLOW ! I saw the word HOLLOW , but couldn’t get the rest ! It drove me “ batty “ ! Have a great start to the weekend ! There’s always tomorrow !

Good morning. I checked yesterday’s post late in the evening but never saw my post. Today’s jumble wasn’t that hard. I got the words fairly quick and when I saw all the double letters I separated them into two words and was able to figure out the answer. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

Tough answer. I began by looking for words with WH and two Ls in them. When that didn’t work, I tried words beginning with H and found Hollow. Hallowed was left and brought back memories of Lincoln’s Gettysburg address. A few days ago I saw an ant carrying a dead ant in my house. There was something very solemn about it. Wishing all a great weekend.

Is it HALLOWED HOLLOW, or is it HOLLOWED HALLOW? A HALLOW is a saint or holy person, or in this case a holy bat, but his incantations ring HOLLOW. Does shining a bat on the wall really celebrate those bats that came before them? And besides, shining a bat spotlight will bring Batman to the cave in his flying Batmobile. Do the bats want that? Is Batman really a bat? He doesn’t look like one.
