  1. Good Morning, Everyone…I hope this finds you well…
🧱 ONE SMALL STEP…NOT TO BE TAKEN FOR GRANITE.. 🧱

    🎶 I, I, I, I, I’m not your STEPPIN’ STONE…I, I, I, I, I’m not your steppin’ stone…🎶 “ (I’m Not Your) Steppin’Stone” – The Monkees 1966 https://tinyurl.com/587edbba

🧱 When running your own business, an aid is word of mouth,
And here we see a business based on granite and on grout…
The guy is like a GOPHER..he’s trying best to dig,
New clients that he can impress and hopefully get more gigs…
(I’m not drilling too deep for SPLINT, no ISSUE has it here,
I tried to work it into rhyme…the TENTH try made it clear…
That no way would it fit)…So ‘stead I’m back as this guy hones
His craftsmanship while offering his clients STEPPING STONES! 🧱

I can’t believe how much time I spent STAIRing at the word Splint…all to no avail..Not the anagram, that I saw immediately…I mean the word itself…trying to work it into my rhyme…it definitely caused my blood pressure to CLIMB! BLASTED word…wasted so much of my LIME..I mean time…

Anyway…as far as words go…today we have all new Anagrams to CHIP away at…but they were quickly broken down…As was today’s puzzle answer…An automatic solve, easily set in STONE…While the idiom STEPPING STONE https://tinyurl.com/zvzaymuz refers to an assist of some sort, what we see here today in our puzzle is a double DRILL on its meaning. Not only do we see our woman TREADing on the stairs, exclaiming how they’re assisting her in entering her yard right from the back of her house, but also how the slabs of granite STONE became STEPS…It just comes DOWN to a win, win!…Plus it also brought to mind a puzzle from years ago, https://tinyurl.com/2apeh2fw June of 2011 to be exact, when this guy of ours was just starting out…Good to see that he’s gotten UP in the world with his business…and that he didn’t hit ROCK bottom…Makes me feel a little SEDIMENTAL…

…And one needn’t CRANE one’s neck to see our guy’s two employees hard at work at back…all for the CRATER good of the business…

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, stay safe…And even though I’ve had a few ROCKY days, I’m trying to just CHALK it up to life…Anyway, I’m figuring as long as it doesn’t affect my APATITE, it’s COAL…I’m just doing my best to hang in there…and not take anything for GRANITE…🧱🙋🏻‍♀️

    I STAND WITH UKRAINE 💔🇺🇦

  2. 🦫 After slipping on the STEPPING STONES and ending up with her arm in a SPLINT, she couldn’t deal with the ISSUE of the GOPHER that managed to dig the TENTH hole in her garden… 🦫

🤷🏻‍♂️They nicknamed him the GOPHER, when gofer’s what they meant,
He wasn’t the first one either…in fact he was the TENTH…
They wanted him to deal with every ISSUE that arose,
They had him hopping here and there…it kept him on his toes…
But when they told him with a SPLINT to start up a small fire,
He had to question the extent he’d go with this here hire
It was enough the running ‘round, and answering the phones…
But how much was expected with these intern STEPPING STONES? 🤷🏻‍♂️

  3. Good morning taco-Tuesday ! Boy , I had an ISSUE a with that word , I think it was late and my mind was tired from hanging out at the Dyngus Day celebration all night , listening and dancing to good old Polka music ! So made me want to crawl into a hole and kick out the GOPHER, cause I didn’t get him either ! But the other two anagrams were spot on ! Now the jumble came right to me and I stepped on it quickly ! When I saw the woman walking down the steps , I saw the word STEPPING right away and that left STONES ! Reminds of a Monkees song 🎵 I’m not your stepping stone 🎵 everyone have a great taco-Tuesday and get some tacos !!!

  4. What an easy puzzle to blind solve this morning…for some people, but not me. Had to solve the regular way, though anagrams were easy and puzzle an easy solve with letters in front of me. Not familiar with song, but will listen soon. Angela…be well !!!

  5. Good morning. At first my mind was like an empty chalkboard, blank. Then finally my mind came alive and the words were simple and after putting down the letters from the words the cartoon answer jumped out as well. First time hearing that song Angela. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

    • Good Morning, Paul…Hoping you’re staying well and safe too. 🧱🙋🏻‍♀️

  6. For all those steps made of igneous rock
The cost might give you a shock
And the rock is so hard
Don’t be caught off your guard
If you stumble, ’twill be a hard knock!

  7. I had some problems with my equipment. My paper displayed the fourth word as NPITIS, which doesn’t anagram to a six-letter word. I concluded that the newspaper misprinted the clue, and that the second I should be an L. Then my cell phone kept adlibbing on me, giving me the wrong set of letters for the cartoon clue. I finally got the solution of STEPPING STONES. That could have been one word, STEPPINGSTONES. There are some shadow solutions, such as STETSONS PIGPEN (needs an apostrophe). I suppose Mr. Stetson created a mess when constructing the stone steps. And the characters used the present tense, but the clue is in the past tense. Maybe the creators of this Jumble should have been STOPPING TENSES.

  8. Easy anagrams, saw STEP, ping followed. However I had difficulty coming up with STONES.
I have to step outside but it’s SNOWING!!! Who’s praying for snow??? It’s baseball season!
Let’s pray for the return of a beautiful spring!

  9. Stepped right up and solved the puzzle easily this morning. We too are having weird weather. It’s supposed to rain on and off all week. Are supposed to get more rain this week than we had in the winter which is good news but of course the weather people say it’s a drop in the bucket and won’t make a dent in the drought. Whatever! Have a good day all.

    • I’d do the rain dance for you, Betty…but the way things have been going for me, it’d be just my luck that I’d get more rain instead of you! 😉 Wishing you luck…and a good day too…💦💦☔️🙋🏻‍♀️
