  1. Good Morning, Everyone. 🦨 A THIOL TRIAL! 🦨

🎶 Oh nobody loves me, my spirit sure is low… Oh nobody loves me for the reasons you will know… Nobody loves me, my best friend said I STUNK…Nobody loves me on the ‘count of I’m a SKUNK…🎶 “The Skunk Song” – Cab Calloway 1942 https://tinyurl.com/2djve3e2

🦨 The phrase “Fresh as a DAISY” surely doesn’t fit this scene,
The PRICE one pays from getting close to skunks? Bad as it seems…
We see our guy’s wife SQUAWK aloud…poor guy’s in trouble deep,
A skunk when it feels threatened? Like a MAGNET…oils seep
If this were me, I think I’d die…I’d def be on the brink…
It takes a lot of clean up …once a skunk has RAISED A STINK! 🦨

I suppose it’s part of nature, but should this Mom be all that proud? I mean it’s not like the guy was a threat to the little STINKER, right? Just minding his own business cutting his hedges…IDK, it just doesn’t make SCENTS…Maybe it’s just me, but I think kids should be seen…and not spurred…Anyway…

So, with today’s anagrams we’ve two old, two new. SIDYA and GEMTNA were both seen last year, but SIDYA was originally in play way back in 2014. That’s a long TRAIL…And while all four were so easily unscrambled, it was the solve that just REEKED of easy, breezy…Simply BLACK AND WHITE!…The skunk alone…but combined with the dialogue…”got sprayed”… and especially Mom saying “you’ve grown UP so quickly”? Yep, she RAISED A STINK…that RAISED A STINK! …And just look at those grinning faces…how pleased they both are…There’s such an AIR about them…

And the victim of all this FOUL play?… Shown here with the odor emanating from him? Sad…And now the job of getting all the thiol off…You can’t help but feel for the poor guy… Let us SPRAY, I mean pray…

    So…There you have it Folks…Be well, stay safe, and…Eu-REEK- a, we’re done! 🦨🙋🏻‍♀️

    I STAND WITH UKRAINE 💔🇺🇦

  2. 🌼 Drawn like a MAGNET into the fray, the horticultural group couldn’t help but SQUAWK…and they RAISED A STINK when the PRICE of DAISY plants went through the roof…🌼

📚They opted for the MAGNET school, and then put up a SQUAWK,
When their child was rejected…and they sat down for a talk…
They felt the PRICE too high to pay, with education’s need,
They wanted their child DAISY to have all chance to succeed
And so…not willing to back down…determined not to blink…
They held their ground…respectfully…but yes, they RAISED A STINK!📚

  3. Good morning to start the week ! Wow , the jumbles are back ! I had fun with the anagrams , but the fourt one , I couldn’t pick any of it up , so it wasn’t a very good MAGNET ! The weather is getting better I hope and soon I hope to see a DAISY ! I think we’ve all paid the PRICE at his winter and I just want to see the birds , the green grass , and the sun back and I’m not gonna SQUAWK ! The jumble I thought smelled pretty good even though a skunk can RAISE A STINK ! When I saw all the letters after I read the cartoon, I could smell the word STINK , and the letters left were OSRIEAA and the word RAISED a was easy to see , which left A ! I was happy so I RAISED A STINK ! Everyone have a great start of the week !!!!

  4. A skunk named Daisy didn’t Squawk but made the man pay a Price for coming too close and Raised A Stink stronger than a Magnet bonds with iron. If you’ve ever been near a skunk spray, you know how terrible that smell can be. Loudon Wainwright III describes it perfectly in Dead Skunk in the Middle of the Road” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uu5hzc2Mei4 Glorious weather on the High Plains. Hoping no skunks out for a walk get crushed.

  5. No blind solve this morning, but anagrams came easily. Had to really bear down (or is it bare down?) on my thinking cap as nothing came to mind initially….almost gave up before I saw RAISED and the rest followed. Great video and also the archives of 2001. Keep up the great work, Angela. See you tomorrow

    • Good Morning, Terry. Appreciate that…thank you. Have a good one. 🦨🙋🏻‍♀️

  6. Not only did it RAISE A STINK, it also RISKED A STAIN on the man’s clothes, which would be hard to get rid of in the wash. This does not appear to be a train station, otherwise the skunk could have KISSED A TRAIN with its spray.

  7. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Should your path with a skunk hap to cross,
Keep in mind it’s the skunk who’s the boss…
For should it choose to spray,
    And you don’t get away?…
Clothes and shoes definitely are a loss! 🤦🏻‍♂️

🦨 Mama Skunk she stands there oh so proud,
While our wife just can’t help saying loud…
    “Eww…what happened to you”?
    And amidst morning’s dew…
Our guy stands there engulfed in thiol’s cloud! 🦨

🤦🏻‍♂️ It comes down to the old black and white,
Getting sprayed by a skunk is a fright…
    The stench destroys its prey,
And you’ll def rue the day…
That you found yourself within its sights! 🤦🏻‍♂️

    • Good limericks Angela. My offerings have been later in the day than usual recently – a busy teaching schedule AND losing an hour yesterday with daylight savings time. March 17th coming up – great day for limericks. Let’s see what the jumble brings!

      • Tk you, Helen. And of course you know you can post here at any time of the day…🙋🏻‍♀️

  8. Good morning. Can’t raise a stink today because I solved both ends of jumble. Not it record time or a blind solve but just the satisfaction of getting it done because ( get ready) I wasn’t SKUNKED. Loved your song choice Angela. Another first time hearing it. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

    • Good Morning, Paul…Glad you weren’t skunked! 👏🏻👏🏻…And thank you, glad you enjoyed the music. Have a good one…Be well and stay safe out there. 🦨🙋🏻‍♀️

  9. The skunk who raised such a stink
Didn’t stop for a moment to think
    Of the awful dismay
That was caused by the spray
Just wanted his mom to approve with a wink!

  10. Cute puzzle! Had to solve “A STINK” before “RAISED” came into view, of my own jumble of letters! Please know, in light of last week, I will not be expressing anymore opinions on here, boring you all with my stories, calling anyone other than their proper names! In addition to Angela, I should have never called Mig…..Migs. Mike …. Mikey! I hope you all Realize there was never any malice intended. Unfortunately, this has always been my way of trying to be friendly, which backfired! Most of you, are so very nice. There are a few pot stirrer’ers (yep not a word, I already know this)! 😁 So, in closing. Wishing you all a wonderfully, sunny day where you reside, in your geographical location or in life! Take care! Be kind! And if people bring you angst, smile and take the old motto 🙉🙈🙊! I should have taken credence to these Monkeys long ago! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 So Long!

    • Wishing you a wonderful, sunny day too, Kimberly. Happy Pi Day! 🥧🙋🏻‍♀️

      • TY! One last thing, before I go! You know, I always thought it would be so nice if we all would have our own little “JumbleCon” someday! Maybe converging to the spot where one of the guys went to college. That little haunt that a picture was posted of. Michigan? I don’t remember the exact location. It looked like a cool place, tho! And I always thought to mention it, so we all could have a meet and greet! But since last week, I have absolutely no desire for that now! But still think it would be nice for “your” jumble family to consider someday! Cheers!☺️

      • You are so very kind! And have always enjoyed that you and I have shared many “like- minded, twin moments!” ☺️☺️Take care! Always nice to hear from you!

        • I should have put your name in there, Caroline! I have always forgotten to reference specific names in my posts. ☺️☺️

    • Here’s hoping you reconsider sharing your stories, Kim. And I agree with Caroline in that I too enjoy reading your comments. They’ll always be welcome here!

      • Thank you, Mike! To me, you have always been the “epitome” of kindness! And, if ever I see a space shot on T.V. Be it Bezos or Elon, or NASA! I think to myself 🤔….”I Wonder if Mike’s watching this?” 😉😉😉 Take care!

    • …And trust, we’ve seen the rude comments, and we’re doing our best to get rid of them the best we can. Some people just find it hard to be kind…🙋🏻‍♀️

      • Oh, I know you do, Angela! It truly is nice to hear of other’s opinions and thought provoking analysis! And You do a great job of fielding those…..Especially, if they get a little more provoking, than thought! 😂😂😂

        • Tk you. I just try to go by the do unto others rule of thumb…(And speaking of, I’ve a great Jumble solve using that idiom)! 😉 But as I mentioned the other day, in light of what’s going on around us, who has time for the ugliness…Life’s too short…🙋🏻‍♀️

  11. Todays Jumble didn’t “put a ‘smell’ on me”! Easy solve, but had to find STINK first.

  12. FYI: I didn’t see it included in the USA listing, but Boston Market is offering Apple Pies today for $3.14, in celebration of Pi Day. Enjoy! 🥧🙋🏻‍♀️

  13. I agree with Caroline and Mike and anyone else who is in the same thinking of a JumbleCon ! I enjoy being a part of it and happy to contribute ! Love the jumble family ! Have a great day !!!
