  1. Good Morning, Everyone…✝️ PREACHING TO ACQUIRE ✝️

🎶 TALK To Me…TALK to me….Ooo I love the things you say…TALK to me….TALK to me, in your own sweet gentle way…🎶 “Talk to Me” – Little Willie John 1958 https://tinyurl.com/bdhp9xf9

✝️ Some sermons can be interesting, and keep people enrapt,
While others just drag on and on…and you’ll see some Folks nap…
They may be about evil…a SNITCH, maybe a thief,
And things sometimes turn ICIER with those who shun belief…
You sit and try to concentrate, candle AROMA ‘round,
    (And here’s where I dump INDUCT…it just won’t get off the ground)…
Comes down to sermons, bottom line…you hope that while you sit…
The Pastor does come well prepared to ADMINISTER IT! ✝️

Ok. I’m just going on record to say that I needed some DIVINE intervention to get a workable rhyme going here. Like pulling teeth…like doing PENANCE..It was definitely something of a pREACH…

So, all new anagrams. Can I get an AMEN? I’m sure David did some prep work here…And it was THNISC that had those Early Bird tongues wagging a bit…They had a little trouble getting it RITE. Itch was heard…but they scratched it… The solve? We were BLESSED…ADMINISTER IT…I think it was the DELIVERY of the words “prepared” and “Pastor” that did it. A marriage made in HEAVEN…

Our cartoon? Our Pastor, Mr. HAL LELUJAH, looks not just ready, but willing and able. And from the exuberant reception he’s getting from his congregant I’d say he’s definitely one of those preachers who doesn’t look out over the pulpit to see nodding heads…And his colorful tippet and two-toned shoes just add to his persona…As for the “Church Lady” ..you gotta love the hat…

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, stay safe…and if you’re a praying person, pray for peace…🙏🏻🙋🏻‍♀️

    I STAND WITH UKRAINE 💔🇺🇦

  2. 🤷🏻‍♂️Preparing to ADMINISTER IT..the rites for the service, which would INDUCT the new members into the organization, he was pulled into a conversation ICIER than he expected…something about a SNITCH…and the room took on an AROMA of disdain…🤷🏻‍♂️

🤷🏻‍♀️ The AROMA of the simmering soup wafted throughout the house,
But the situation with the SNITCH still made her want to grouse…
Reception had been ICIER than she hoped it would be,
(The soup she hoped would comfort her…at least to some degree)
They wanted to INDUCT the man, but the group was so close-knit…
A ceremony? Not so sure that they’d ADMINISTER IT…🤷🏻‍♀️

    • I actually got lost for a bit in your “Aroma of simmering soup” line! Especially, since I was out in the wee morning hours, taking out the dog, getting the paper, bringing up the garbage can, and feeding the birds in 12 degree weather. 🥶 It’s going to change soon! Have a good day! ☺️

  3. Had a hard time with this one today – the answer : “Administering It” was really clever and challenging – hope everyone has a beautiful and sunny day ! Until tomorrow !
    Standing with Ukraine!

  4. Just a wee bit too cryptic for my sleepy eyes this morning. Easy anagrams and last word IT was about all I could muster. Had to resort to the dreaded “Looked it up” method !! Enjoying spring-like days for awhile. See you on Saturday

  5. I was slowed down by ICIER, but with some luck, figured it out. Those 5 letter words with 3 vowels can be harder. I guess that’s why 2 of them were included on today’s Friday Jumble. As soon as I thought about another word for “Pastor”, the word “MINISTER” popped out…and the solution to the cartoon was clear. Cute pun today! Have a great Friday!

  6. 🤷🏻‍♀️ So, you’re sitting in Church and you’re thinking,
Will the sermon keep you from the blinking…
    Hoping Pastor is prepped,
    So attention is kept…
And you won’t find yourself slowly sinking! 🤷🏻‍♀️

  7. Good morning. Stumbled awhile on icier and I think the last time I had to look it up. The cartoon answer was cleaver but I failed to pick up on the hint with the pastors sermon. Loved your song choice Angela, It transported me back it time. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

    • Good Morning, Paul. Good memory…Icier did have you looking it up last time…And thank you, glad you enjoyed the song. I like it too…I listen to it all the time. Hoping you’re staying well and safe too…✝️🙋🏻‍♀️

  8. MARCH 4TH…If you’re ever going through your own type of hell…MARCH FORTH….March on and just keep going. This day is literally telling you to do so. Today is the only day of the year that tells you to do something… Today, MARCH 4th…💔🇺🇦

  9. A surprisingly easy Jumble for a Friday. Both the anagrams and the many lettered cartoon.Have a happy meatless Lenten Friday! Fried noodles, cream style corn and vegetarian baked beans on our Friday menu! One if my favorites.

  10. Clever puzzle this morning – great play on words – pastor / minister.. Managed to solve it without difficulty. So now we have Taco Tuesday and Meatless Friday – Stop the Madness !! Wishing all of you a good day.

  11. It took a while to see MINISTER, but then it was a quick solve. I found SNITCH the hardest word to solve today.

  12. Hello Friday ! Start of the weekend ! I’m getting a late start today , suzie was off yesterday, so we put on our Jim and Suzie Stewart hats on today ! Anyway I got time now and the jumble came right out ( like Brad ) when I read it about a preacher , the word that came right to me before I even looked at the letters was Minister , well that was great and a great way to ADMINISTER my birthday weekend ! The only anagram I was cold with was ICIER . But I broke it after I skated through the rest ! Everyone have a great Friday start of the weekend !!!!
